These players stood out in the Giants' preseason game against the Jets

CB DONTE DEAYONDeayon scored the defense's second touchdown of the night, returning a ball that Janoris Jenkins dislodged from Jets wide receiver Robby Anderson for 36 yards to the house.

DE JASON PIERRE-PAULAfter breaking up a pass to force a punt on the Jets' first drive, Pierre-Paul tackled running back Matt Forte in the end zone for a safety on their second possession. He also added a sack to his night.

WR TRAVIS RUDOLPHRudolph, an undrafted rookie who is taking first-team snaps with Odell Beckham Jr. and Brandon Marshall injured, had a nice spin-and-catch in traffic that he turned into a 57-yard gain late in the first half. He didn't stop there, racking up a game-high 81 yards on three catches.

SAFETY LANDON COLLINSThe All-Pro safety looks like he's already in midseason form and returned an interception off Christian Hackenberg 23 yards for a touchdown with 4:44 left in the first quarter.

KICKER MIKE NUGENTIn his ongoing competition with Aldrick Rosas, the veteran kicker was perfect on Saturday night from 50 and 54 yards.

OL BRETT JONESThe former CFL all-star and Grey Cup champion relieved starting right guard John Jerry early in the game and paved the way for some productive drives. He later took over at center, where he has been backing up Weston Richburg.
