Week 13: NYG vs. WAS Grades
Giants.com contributor Shaun O'Hara grades the different position groups for their performance vs. the Redskins

Offensive line: CI thought Kevin Boothe did a great job of stepping in and James Brewer moving to left guard. (Brewer) did okay at times but had a couple of mental errors. Will Beatty got beat a couple times. Every once in a while, as an offensive lineman, you do get beat, but the way he was getting beat was unacceptable. I thought the Giants could have done a better job of running the football.

QB Eli Manning: BI thought the interception, it looked like he just tried to get the ball out and kind of overthrew his guy. I thought he made a couple big throws on third down. He also had no delay of game penalties, which on the road has kind of been an issue. Defensively, they were trying to do a lot of things against him. He had to check a lot of plays at the line of scrimmage, and I thought he did a good job of that.

Running backs: BI thought Andre Brown did a great job with an individual effort to get into the end zone on that touchdown run. I thought Peyton Hillis had a few decent runs. They didn't run the football a lot and didn't have a whole lot of opportunities.

Wide receivers/Tight ends: C+I thought the tight ends blocked poorly all night. Victor Cruz had a couple big catches, and it was nice to see Hakeem Nicks get two catches.

Defensive line: AI thought they did a good job against the run. When you're running the option, you've got to read your keys. We saw how Mathias Kiwanuka did that. Justin Tuck obviously got a lot of the sacks, but they weren't all just him. Kiwanuka got pressure to flush the quarterback into him. Cullen Jenkins also had a sack. I thought Johnathan Hankins also showed up at times. They did a good job.

Linebackers: B+Jon Beason had a stellar day. He was running all over the place. Jacquian Williams had a couple decent plays, and Spencer Paysinger played a lot and was making plays.

Secondary: B+Antrel Rolle had a couple big tackles. Prince Amukamara dropped an interception. Robert Griffin III missed a lot of big throws. I thought Jayron Hosley stepped up. They didn't call his name, and corners are almost like offensive linemen, if they don't say your name, you're doing a good job. They had Terrell Thomas blitzing a lot, and I thought he was very active in the game again. He's having a very good year.

Special teams: B+Steve Weatherford had a solid day. Damontre Moore found the punter again, but that was on a bad snap. Josh Brown just made his field goal to extend their lead.
