Roman Oben's Giants vs. Texans grades
Roman Oben grades the different position groups for their performance in the Week 3 matchup vs. the Texans

Offensive Line: A-"You did get one shoestring sack from J.J. Watt, but the 193 yards on the ground was tremendous. Obviously, being an offensive lineman, you know that when you watch that film, it wasn't always clean, but it's definitely a great grade for this group of guys and a good confidence builder."

Quarterback: A"Eli Manning was 75 percent passing, 21-for-28, and that was a result of the running game being solid, too. He made some good throws, and they had some yards after the catch and no drops. All that helps the quarterback improve his performance."

Running Backs: A+"Career day for Rashad Jennings. I'm really happy that this guy has really worked his way into being a solid No. 1 running back. You hope to see more games north of 100 yards rushing for him."

Wide Receivers/Tight Ends: A-"They only had 234 yards in the air. But it was good to see Victor Cruz get his touchdown, much needed."
![Defensive Line: A-"JPP [Jason Pierre-Paul] had five solos, a tackle for a loss, and a pass breakup. All four D-linemen showed up in the top 10 in defensive stats in terms of tackles and productivity. So that's a solid, solid day for the D-linemen."](https://static.clubs.nfl.com/image/private/t_new_photo_album/t_lazy/f_auto/giants/eeurd2khmdxyhphjo5pc.jpg)

Linebackers: B+"Without Jon Beason, it was really solid. Jameel McClain played really well with a sack and nine solos tackles. No interceptions from the linebackers -- no real impact plays -- but they all just played solid."

Secondary: A+"It was good to see the secondary play the way they're capable of playing, and it gives you confidence in what they're going to be able to do down the stretch, especially on the short week going into a divisional opponent on the road."

Special Teams: B-"It doesn't seem like Zak DeOssie has fumbled the snap that badly in five years, and I hope it's another five years before he does that again. I guess he was up yesterday. But it was good to see Steve Weatherford's foot get better each week. You'd love to see a big return for a touchdown for the Giants, but you haven't yet, so B- for the unit."
