Players to watch vs. Washington
Keep on eye on these players in the Giants' season finale vs. Washington

DE Justin TuckThe last time Tuck suited up against the Redskins, he notched four sacks in a Week 13 victory. While stout against the run all year, Tuck has seen his pass rush numbers catch up, recording 6.5 of his 9.0 sacks in the last four weeks. "I think I've tried to say it before that he's done a good job from the standpoint of he came in, he worked hard, he got elected captain and he continued to work hard," Tom Coughlin said. "He really has done more to demonstrate and show a good example than he has to say anything at any time, I think, except for something good about others and other members of this team. He's had a good season and he's also been a good example."

G David DiehlWhat comes after Sunday's finale against Washington is unknown for David Diehl, who has played all of his 163 career games in a Giants uniform. The soon-to-be free agent and 11-year vet will do what he always does and play the game like it could be his last. "I'm not thinking about long-term now (because) it isn't going to help me on Sunday," Diehl said. "What I'm doing is focusing on this one game, focusing on making sure that I'm healing myself up, getting ready to go and getting ready to go out there and play like I always do. We play for one another, we play for our team, we play for this organization, we play for the New York and New Jersey area. It means a lot to be a Giant, and I think each and every one of us feels that way and we want to close it that way."

RB Peyton HillisLike Diehl, Hillis heads into Sunday with an unknown future. Hillis, along with fellow running back Andre Brown, passed the NFL's concussion protocol this week and is listed as probable. "My mindset was to get back on the field," Hillis said. "Like I said earlier, it could be my last game so I'm not going to go out with a concussion. I'm here and I'm wanting to play and hoping that I do well."

WR Jerrel Jernigan/WR Louis MurphyJernigan became the 30th different player to catch a regular-season touchdown pass from Eli Manning last week in Detroit. With Victor Cruz sidelined by a knee injury, Jernigan coupled his first career touchdown with the fact that he led the Giants in receiving yards for the second week in a row. Meanwhile, Rueben Randle is dealing with his own knee problem heading into the 2013 finale, which would open the door for other receivers like Louis Murphy and Julian Talley.

S Antrel RolleWhether or not his season will be capped by a trip to the Pro Bowl, Antrel Rolle can hang his hat on the career year he's having as a defensive co-captain. Rolle leads the Giants in tackles and is tied for second in the NFL with a career-high six interceptions. But none of that matters to Rolle, whose Giants will be watching the playoffs from home. "It's always a great accomplishment," Rolle said of the possibility of making the Pro Bowl, which he has done twice before in his career. "But more importantly, I think my main goal and focus has always been how we produce as a team. It doesn't take anything away from the Pro Bowl or my own personal accolades, but at the same time, I would give my left arm to be playing in the postseason right now. You have to take the good with the bad and the bad with the good."
