Now in at quarterback, Robert Griffin III regains the lead for Washington on a nine-yard touchdown pass to Chris Thompson.

Griffin scrambles eight yards for an apparent touchdown as time expired in the first half, but after an official review, the play was reversed and ruled that he lost control of the ball and fumbled out of bounds in the end zone for a touchback. Instead of the Redskins taking a 17-7 lead into halftime, the Giants trail just 10-7 after two quarters.

After the ruling, Washington wide receiver Santana Moss gets ejected for arguing with the referees as the teams head back to the locker room. The penalties lead to the Giants kicking off at the Redskins' 35-yard line to start the second half, and that's when Josh Brown successfully converts an onside kick, which Giants special teamer Chandler Fenner recovers. >>WATCH ONSIDE KICK

The onside kick leads to 32-yard field goal by Brown to tie the game.

On the following drive, Griffin scrambles for 23 yards into Giants territory. It was Washington's longest run of the day.

Three plays later on fourth-and-two, Devon Kennard and Jason Pierre-Paul sack Griffin for a loss of four yards, and the Giants take over on downs.
