Most Improved Player: WR Rueben RandlePlaying behind Hakeem Nicks and Victor Cruz, the second-year wide receiver has learned the ropes and is becoming a reliable target with big-play ability for Eli Manning.

Most Consistent Player: Guard Kevin BootheKevin Boothe has carved out a spot on this team while starting all 16 games for the Giants last season. With the recent shuffling around him on the offensive line, Boothe's versatility and knowledge of the system has made him a reliable option for the coaching staff.

Most Valuable Free Agent: DT Cullen JenkinsJenkins was brought in because of his versatility, and he showed that throughout training camp. He started the first two preseason games and recorded a sack in the opener against Pittsburgh.

Comeback Player: CB Terrell ThomasThomas' long road back to the field hit a major milestone this past weekend when he suited up against the Jets. After three major knee injuries and not playing in a regular-season game since 2010, Thomas recorded three tackles (two solo) in the third preseason game. Thomas and the Giants hope to build from there.

Standout Rookie: DE Damontre MooreMoore proved to be one of the most explosive players in camp, rookies or otherwise. He is currently sidelined with a shoulder injury, but Moore made a splash in the preseason opener by blocking a punt against the Steelers.

Player to make first pro bowlIn four seasons that included back-to-back 1,000-yard campaigns 2010 and 2011, Nicks has yet to be named to a Pro Bowl. Back healthy, Nicks aims to have a big 2013.

Offensive MVP: RB David WilsonBuilding off his rookie season, Wilson continues to prove he is one of the most explosive players to wear a Giants uniform in recent history. The second-year running back broke an 84-yard touchdown run on the first offensive play on Saturday night against the Jets. Through three preseason games, Wilson has 18 carries for 142 yards along with six catches for 27 yards.

Defensive MVP: Prince AmukamaraAmukamara was also a contender for most improved player as the third-year cornerback took a major leap in training camp. He constantly provided the top plays for the defense in practices, and the team will see if he carries it over to the regular season.

Special Teams MVP: Kicker Josh BrownFilling the void left by Lawrence Tynes' storied career, Brown showed his strong leg at camp. He has made 11 of 13 field goals with a long of 50 in three preseason games, while 50 percent of his kickoffs were booted for touchbacks.
