December 10, 1989) Giants at Broncos Week 14 - Mile High Stadium, Denver, CO - As eight inches of snow fell on Mile High Stadium, the Giants snapped a two-game losing streak by beating the Denver Broncos 14-7. Ottis Anderson scored on a 3-yard run and David Meggett caught a 57-yard touchdown from Phil Simms in the second quarter while the Giants grinded out the victory to improve to 10-4.

January 20, 2008) NFC Championship Game Giants at Packers - Lambeau Field, Green Bay, WI - With a temperature of minus-three degrees and a wind-chill of three times that, Lawrence Tynes came through with a 47-yard field goal in overtime to beat the Packers 23-20, sending the Giants to Super Bowl XLII.

December 23, 2007) Giants at Bills Week 16 - Ralph Wilson Stadium, Buffalo, NY - Beginning with pelting rain and ending with flurries and wind gusts above 50 miles per hour, the Giants clinched a playoff berth with a 38-21 victory over the Buffalo Bills. Led by Brandon Jacobs and Ahmad Bradshaw, the Giants battled the weather by rushing 47 times for 291 yards.

January 11, 1987) NFC Championship Game Giants vs. Redskins - Giants Stadium, East Rutherford, NJ - With winds reaching 30 miles per hour in the Meadowlands, Hall of Fame coach Bill Parcells chose to take the wind after the winning the opening coin toss. His Giants went on to stifle the Washington Redskins 17-0, sending them to the first Super Bowl in franchise history.

December 30, 1962) NFL Championship Game Giants vs. Packers - Yankee Stadium, Bronx, NY - In a rematch of the 1961 title game, heavy winds and dust made the passing game obsolete for both teams. Jim Collier blocked a punt for a touchdown for the Giants' only score as they lost to Green Bay 16-7.

December 14, 1958) Giants vs. Browns Week 12 - Yankee Stadium, Bronx, NY - In the snow Giants kicker Pat Summerall made a 49-yard field goal late in the fourth quarter to break a tie, leading to a 13-10 victory over the Browns in the regular-season finale.

December 30, 1956) NFL Championship Game Giants vs. Bears - Yankee Stadium, Bronx, NY - Reminiscent of the 1934 NFL Championship Game, the Giants again wore sneakers on an icy field to take down the Chicago Bears 47-7 for the franchise's fourth of eight league titles.

December 9, 1934) "Sneakers Game" 1934 NFL Championship Game Giants vs. Bears - Polo Grounds, New York, NY - As the Giants were getting set to face the undefeated Chicago Bears, a freezing rain coated the field, which Big Blue embraced by famously wearing sneakers to provide better footing. It worked as the Giants went on to win 30-13 in what would be dubbed the "Sneakers Game."
