Five Players to Watch vs. Seahawks
Keep an eye on these five players as the Giants face the Seahawks Sunday

S Antrel Rolle The Giants are guarding against a letdown after being eliminated from the postseason race, and they will rely on their leaders to keep them motivated. Rolle, who is having one of his most productive seasons as a pro, has been a consistent voice in the locker room in his first season as a Giants co-captain. "We still have everything to play for," Rolle said. "To me, your pride in this league is everything. The way you go out there and perform every Sunday is everything. In this business, a lot of times we don't get everything that we want and we learn that from playing little league on up. It's just something that we have to deal with, something that we put on ourselves as players and we still have three games left to go out there and display what we are as a Giants organization."
![WR Victor Cruz Cruz is 27 yards away from becoming the fourth Giant to eclipse 1,000 receiving yards in three straight seasons. The fourth-year wide receiver, who is also on pace for a career-high reception total, will try to do so against Seattle's No. 1 defense, which gives up just 175.6 passing yards per game. "It's been great having a guy like Eli [Manning] on my team and on my side to be able to, from an individual standpoint, believe in what I can do and be able to trust in the fact that I'm going to be where I'm going to be on times down the field and getting me the ball and do some good things," said Cruz, who has 71 receptions for 973 yards and four touchdowns through Week 14. "So to be able to achieve an individual goal like that between myself and Eli for these past three years has been an amazing feat, but obviously it's about this team and it's about what we do collectively."](https://static.clubs.nfl.com/image/private/t_new_photo_album/t_lazy/f_auto/giants/weod4hmfkcljlrrdztvf.jpg)

DE Justin Tuck When Russell Wilson isn't passing to his rating of 106.5, the Seahawks quarterback is averaging 5.7 yards per carry. Starting up front with Justin Tuck and the defensive line, the Giants' defense will need to be at its best. "He is a dual threat," Tuck said. "He's going to be tough to corral. Obviously we've got to play our best game against him because, like I said, he doesn't make a lot of mistakes. He's playing like a wily vet. It's hard to believe he's only in his second year in the league and he's doing pretty well."

LB Jon Beason When Marshawn Lynch takes the field at MetLife Stadium, he will be the ninth running back currently in the top 10 in rushing yards that the Giants have faced (the only one they haven't played is San Francisco's Frank Gore). Lynch, who is currently fourth with 1,042 yards, provides a powerful 1-2 punch with his quarterback. Despite being a midseason addition, Beason is third on the team with 66 tackles and will be called upon against the No. 3 rushing offense. "We've done it, so there's no reason why we can't do it this week, but it's going to take a special effort," Beason said. "Guys have to prepare harder, especially when you're coming off a disappointing loss in terms of your performance. It's on the individual, but you have to do it for the man next to you, too. Everyone has to buy in and say, 'Okay, let's get back to the basics and just do what we're supposed to do.' Whatever the call is, know your job and do it."

RB Andre Brown The Seahawks defense is No. 1 in the NFL in terms of total yards, but they are middle of the pack against the run. With Brandon Jacobs placed on injured reserve this week, Brown continues to shoulder the load and will need to be productive with the passing attack struggling. "To go up against the best team in the NFC, to go out there and fight and give them a good hit, a good lick, and try to bring back the season and make a name for ourselves," Brown said. "As far as playing for pride, as a man, that's just what you want to do and just go out there, make plays, and have fun out there."
