Five players to watch vs. Packers
Keep an eye on these five players as the Giants face the Packers on Sunday

WR Hakeem NicksWR Hakeem Nicks In just four games, Hakeem Nicks' six touchdowns against the Packers are the most by any Giant in franchise history, including postseason. However, the wide receiver, who has 38 catches for 570 yards on the season, finds himself without a touchdown through nine games this year. "It's going to come," Nicks said. "I'm not worried about it. I've got a good feeling I'm going to get in there Sunday, though. I'm going to do everything I've got to get in there. If I've got to break a tackle, whatever, I'm itching for it now. I feel like everybody's talking about it now, so I've got to go ahead and get in there."

DE Damontre MooreJason Pierre-Paul is listed as questionable for Sunday after missing practice on Wednesday and Thursday because of a shoulder injury. Moore, who is looking for a breakthrough on defense, could see more action because of it. But in the meantime, he is a disruptive force on special teams, including another blocked punt last week that was scooped up for a touchdown by teammate Cooper Taylor. "I think I'm fully ready," Moore said. "I like taking on the challenge, I prepared hard, I'm confident in the scheme and the coaches have put me in the best position so far. I feel like I can go out there and make something happen."

CB Trumaine McBrideWith Corey Webster ruled out of Sunday's contest because of groin and ankle injuries, McBride remains the starter opposite Prince Amukamara. McBride, a six-year vet who spent last season out of the NFL, has found a place with the Giants and has started in each of the Giants' three straight wins. "That's the thing, a lot of guys look at me and I look young," McBride said. "They think I'm a rookie or this is my second year. Most guys don't know my background or don't know where I've been or how long I've been in the league."

RB Andre BrownIn a remarkable return from a broken leg, Brown rushed 30 times for 115 yards and the go-ahead touchdown against the Raiders in his first game since the preseason. Meanwhile, fellow running back Brandon Jacobs is questionable after missing the last three games, meaning Brown is ready for whatever workload comes his way. "After a couple massages and the cold tub, I'm fine," Brown said Thursday at the Quest Diagnostics Training Center. "I'm perfect. I'm ready just to go out there and get beat up again, I guess."

DT Linval JosephFor whatever reason, Joseph turns it up when the Giants face the Packers. In four games against Green Bay - including postseason - Joseph has 21 tackles, including a career-high nine in a 2011 regular-season matchup. The Giants will again need him on the first wave of defense against a talented rookie running back in Eddie Lacy. "Linval plays good against teams in green," defensive coordinator Perry Fewell said. "I don't know why. You go back to '11 and he played good against Green Bay. He played good against them last year. He played good against Philly. Maybe it's just the teams in green he kind of steps it up a little bit."
