7 Players to watch vs. Washington
Keep an eye on these seven players against Washington on Thursday Night

Second Safety (Stevie Brown/Nat Berhe/Quintin Demps)Rookie Nat Berhe replaced starting safety Stevie Brown late in the Giants' Week 3 victory over the Houston Texans, but there has been no official word yet if that will change on Thursday night against the Washington Redskins. Coach Tom Coughlin and defensive coordinator Perry Fewell both said it was an internal decision and left it at that. Veteran Quintin Demps is also a possibility to play opposite Antrel Rolle as the secondary gears up for an offense that put up 427 yards through the air last week.

CB Dominique Rodgers-CromartieThe first-year Giant is in his seventh NFL season, two of which he spent alongside Washington wide receiver DeSean Jackson in Philadelphia in 2011 and 2012. But now they square off against each other in their new uniforms in the Giants' first NFC East matchup of the season. Against his former team last week, Jackson caught five passes for 117 yards, including an 81-yard touchdown. "He is a good friend of mine," said Rodgers-Cromartie, who had a 75-yard interception touchdown return last year against Washington while playing for Denver. "We do a lot of things during the offseason. I definitely know him and he knows me. That is definitely going to be a good matchup.">> WATCH RODGERS-CROMARTIE INTERCEPTION VS. TEXANS

RB Rashad JenningsThe running back had a career game last week with 176 yards on 34 carries. The challenge now is to do it again on 103 hours and 25 minutes of rest. "Looking at Rashad Jennings, evaluating him as a free agent, we knew he was a high character guy," offensive coordinator Ben McAdoo said. "He has a lot of versatility, but you appreciate his toughness. You appreciate a back who gets stronger as the game goes on, and it's certainly a testament to his toughness and the way he takes care of himself, and the way he prepares each and every day showed up on Sunday.">> WATCH RB RASHAD JENNINGS HIGHLIGHTS VS. TE Daniel FellsWhile fellow tight end Larry Donnell leads all Giants in receptions and targets, the veteran Fells has them all beat with two touchdowns in the last two games, including one from nine yards out last week. Fells has been targeted only four times this season, but he has caught all of them and is becoming a reliable target near the goal line. That could prove invaluable against a divisional rival on the road. >> WATCH TE DANIEL FELLS TOUCHDOWN VS. TEXANS

DE Jason Pierre-PaulPierre-Paul likes playing the Redskins, but they don't like seeing him. In six career games against the NFC East foe, Pierre-Paul has 32 total tackles, six sacks, two forced fumbles, and two fumble recoveries. Two of those meetings -- in 2010 and 2011 -- were multi-sack performances by the defensive end.
