CB Zack BowmanThe veteran cornerback, who signed with the Giants this season, intercepted Jimmy Garoppolo's pass intended for Josh Boyce late in the first quarter, leading to a Josh Brown field on the ensuing possession for the Giants' first points of the game. It would have been the second pick for Bowman, who earlier had one negated by an illegal contact penalty.

RB Peyton HillisHillis, who missed the last three preseason games with ankle and foot injuries, returned in the finale, rushing 11 times for 40 yards, including a one-yard touchdown dive on fourth down in the second quarter. Fellow running back Andre Williams also had a strong performance, rushing five times for 44 yards. Williams accounted for the long play of the game, a 38-yard run late in the first half.
