The New York Giants have selected Mr. Lou Marinelli of New Canaan High School (New Canaan CT) as the Lou Rettino High School Coach of the Year for 2008.

DE Osi Umenyiora joined Will Smith and Giants Chairman and Executive Vice President Steve Tisch to make a surprise visit to George Washington High School in New York City to congratulate the school and football team on winning the PSAL Championship.

Nov. 17th - P Jeff Feagles an ardent supporter of the MDA attended the 2008 MDA Team Builder Kickoff event in preparation for the 2009 MDA Muscle Team Gala.

DL Leger Douzable DT Cliff Louis OL Kevin Boothe and OL Grey Reugamer prepared to put smiles on the faces of 500 NJ foster children on Monday during the annual Giants Jingle Jam.

Dec. 2 - Danny Clark was joined by numerous teammates to help kids "Shop with a Jock." Clark provided 50 kids for the Abbott House with holiday shopping sprees to brighten their holidays!

Dec. 2 - WRs Mario Manningham Steve Smith and Domenik Hixon visited Mount Sinai Medical Center on Tuesday to promote regular men's health screenings and visited the Kravis Children's Hospital at Mount Sinai hanging out with patients.

Nov. 25th - Members of the Giants defensive line visited a community kitchen in Harlem to off-load the Food Bank for NYC's delivery truck of turkeys and produce packed by their teammates and served dinner to the community.

Nov. 25th -Members of the Giants offensive line headed to the Bronx to load turkeys and produce from The Food Bank for NYC's Warehouse raising awareness of the need for food and financial donations.

Nov. 17th - Antonio Pierce honors Ms. Angela Williams site coordinator of Giants Academy during the "Giant Leap to Greatness" awards dinner for Communities In Schools of NJ.

The Giants FedEx and New York Cares will host their 11th annual Coat Drive on Sunday December 7th when they play host to the Philadelphia Eagles at Giants Stadium.

Nov. 16 -The Giants honored members of the Wounded Warriors prior to their game against the Ravens along with Giants Hall of Famer Y.A. Tittle.

The New York Giants have selected Mr. Victor Nazario of Beach Channel High School as the Lou Rettino Coach of the Week for Week 9 of the high school football season.

The New York Giants and New York State teamed up to launch a PSA which will help raise awareness about identity theft. The PSA featured Amani Toomer.

11/11/08 - Grey Ruegamer Kevin Boothe and Jerome McDougle spent Veteran's Day at West Point Military Academy having lunch with 50 members of the "Wounded Warriors Transition Unit" and receiving a tour of the campus.

11/10/08 - RB Brandon Jacobs joined LB Chase Blackburn and members of the 1986 and 1990 Super Bowl Teams at a fundraiser hosted by Fairleigh Dickinson University for beloved professor Rich Fritsky.

Nov. 3 - RB Reuben Droughns served as a judge at the World Cares Center's Seventh Annual Iron Skillet Cook Off. The event features firefighters competing against NYC chefs in a culinary event.

The New York Giants have selected Mr. Victor Quirolo of Iona Preparatory School as the Lou Rettino High School Coach of the Week for Week 7 of the football season.

The United Spinal Giants defeated the United Spinal Jets 15-12 in the second annual Wheelchair Football Championship game. Both teams sponsor a team from the Wheelchair Sports Federation.

Chase Strynkowski a 6th grader at George White Middle School in Hillsdale NJ won a visit from WR Amani Toomer through the NFL's "Take a Player to School" competition. Toomer spoke to the students about the importance of physical fitness.

Oct. 28th - Terrell Thomas Jeremy Clark Bryan Kehl Kenny Phillips and Jonathan Goff participated in the "Rookie Halloween Party" on Tuesday visiting children at Tomorrows Children's Fund in Hackensack University Medical Center.

Event Co-Chairs David Diehl and Richie Seubert led a group of 25 Giants at the annual "Meet the Giants" fundraiser dinner benefitting the Ronald McDonald House of NYC. The event raises money each year to support the work of the House.
