Wide receiver Hakeem Nicks (hamstring) was one of four Giants who did not practice today. Nicks had eight receptions for a career-high 163 yards in the first Dallas game, so it's safe to say the Giants very much want him in the lineup on Sunday.
"I think at this point in the season everyone is dealing with something," Nicks said. "So me being in my position, I wouldn't want to deal with a hamstring. Part of my game is to go deep so that's what I specialize in. I just have to start working around it, find ways to do what I need to do.
"I will just take care of everything today and tomorrow, we'll see by the end of the week what it's feeling like. It's the playoffs now, so I don't see myself missing it."
Nicks, who missed the Nov. 6 victory at New England with a hamstring injury, aggravated it during the game on Saturday.
"He kept on playing, to his credit," Coughlin said. "He really didn't have that other gear, which you probably observed. But that was the reason."
