Corey Washington plays like he practices, and vice versa.
The undrafted rookie wide receiver out of Newberry College first turned heads with a late, 73-yard touchdown against the Buffalo Bills in the Hall of Fame Game, following it up with another decisive score in Saturday's preseason victory over the Pittsburgh Steelers.
In between, he's making plays in practice like the highlight grab he produced on Monday from quarterback Curtis Painter.
That's the type of consistency players like Washington need to show in order to make the 53-man roster
