Kayvon Thibodeaux, the fifth overall selection in the 2022 NFL Draft, and fellow edge rusher Azeez Ojulari will make their season debuts on Monday night against the Dallas Cowboys.
Neither played in the team's victories against Tennessee and Carolina, Thibodeaux because of a knee injury he suffered in a preseason game on Aug. 21 and Ojulari with a calf injury sustained in practice four days later.
Both were listed as questionable on Saturday's final injury report, which ruled out four players due to injuries: rookie wide receiver Wan'Dale Robinson (knee) and cornerbacks Justin Layne (concussion), Nick McCloud (hamstring), and Aaron Robinson (appendix). Wide receiver Kadarius Toney (hamstring) and defensive lineman Leonard Williams (knee) were considered doubtful.
On Monday, the Giants activated defensive tackle Henry Mondeaux and defensive back Fabian Moreau from the practice squad.
Moreau, a 2017 third-round draft choice by the Washington Commanders, was also elevated for last week's victory over the Carolina Panthers. He played 17 snaps on offense in addition to 13 on special teams.
Mondeaux, 6-5 and 280 pounds, was added to the Giants' practice squad on Sept. 1 after his release from the Pittsburgh Steelers. Mondeaux has played in 26 games with two starts, all with the Steelers over the past two seasons. His career numbers include two sacks, four quarterback hits, three tackles for loss, and a fumble recovery.
