Top Five Individual Achievements from 2014

1. ELI MANNING'S SEASON: 4,000 YARDS / 30 TDS

We interrupt Odell Beckham Jr. mania to bring you…Eli Manning.

While the Giants' sensational rookie wide receiver captivated the football public and media, the quarterback who throws him the ball quietly had one of the finest seasons of his 11-year career. In the process, has eliminated all doubts about his ability to excel in the team's new offense.

Manning completed 379 of 601 passes for 4,410 yards, 30 touchdowns and 14 interceptions. His completion percentage of 63.1 was a career high and he had his third-best passer rating (92.1) of his career.

2. LARRY DONNELL'S 3 TOUCHDOWN DAY

Larry Donnell scored Giants' first three touchdowns in the team's 45-14 rout of Washington in Week 4. It was the first time a Giants tight end hit that trifecta in 52 years.

"It was a big night," Donnell said. "Not just for me, but for the team also. Having a victory like that, being able to contribute and help the team like that, feels awesome."

Donnell scored on receptions of five, six and six yards, the latter two in the second quarter, and became the first Giants tight end with three touchdown receptions in a game since Dec. 16, 1962, when Joe Walton caught scoring passes of 10, 20 and eight yards from Y.A. Tittle in 41-31 victory over the Cowboys.

3. BECKHAM JR. WINS ROOKIE OF THE MONTH TWICE

The 12th overall selection in the 2014 NFL Draft from LSU, Odell Beckham set franchise rookie records with 91 receptions for 1,305 yards and 12 touchdowns in only 12 games. His 108.8 yards-per-game average was a Giants record and the highest figure by a rookie in NFL history. He led the league in receiving yards in each of his last six contests, the longest streak ever by a NFL rookie.

Beckham had 130, 143, 148 and 185 yards in his last four games to become the first NFL rookie to have four consecutive 100-yard games since Pittsburgh's Jimmy Orr in 1958. He also had 10 or more receptions in a game four times, the first rookie in NFL history to accomplish the feat.

The rookie fifth-round draft choice from USC had six solo tackles, including two sacks, two tackles for losses and a forced fumble.

Kennard is the first Giant defender to receive a Player of the Week award since defensive end Justin Tuck in 2013 and the only defensive rookie to be honored as a Player of the Week.

5. COACHING MILESTONES: 300 GAMES, 13TH IN WINS

Tom Coughlin is the second-longest tenured coach in Giants history, behind only Pro Football Hall of Famer Steve Owen (1931-53). He has led the Giants to victories in Super Bowls XLII and XLVI. His 96 Giants victories are second in franchise history to Owen's 153 and his eight postseason triumphs tie another Hall of Famer, Bill Parcells, for the most in team history.

This season, Coach Coughlin surpassed 300 regular-season games as a head coach, becoming just the 13th coach in NFL history to reach that milestone. Coughlin joined Bill Belichick and Jeff Fisher as the only active head coaches with at least 300 regular-season games.

Coughlin's his 164 wins moved him into 13th place on the All-Time wins list.
