The Giants hired Brian Daboll on Friday to be the 20th head coach in the history of the New York Giants.
Daboll joined the Bills as offensive coordinator in 2018 after helping lead Alabama to its 17th national championship in 2017. He was the Crimson Tide's offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach that season. In 2020, Daboll was voted the AP's NFL Assistant Coach of the Year after the Bills finished 13-3 and unseated longtime powerhouse New England atop the division.
Here is how the NFL world reacted to the news of Daboll's hire.
