After hitting a couple rookie speedbumps, Giants tight end Evan Engram bounced back this past Sunday in Oakland with the best game of his young and promising career.

The 23rd overall draft choice had game-high totals of seven receptions for 99 yards, including a remarkable one-handed grab for a 22-yard gain in the fourth quarter. For his performance, Engram has been nominated for Pepsi Rookie of the Week.

Fans can vote for him at nfl.com/rookies through Friday at 3 p.m., and the winner will be announced later that day on "NFL Total Access" on NFL Network and on NFL.com. After the regular season, five players will be nominated for Pepsi NFL Rookie of the Year honors.

Engram also caught a 10-yard touchdown pass against the Raiders, his sixth of the season, to break a tie with Bob Tucker for the most by a rookie tight end in franchise history. The record had stood since 1970.

Engram was previously nominated for this award in Week 9 after catching four passes for 70 yards and a touchdown against the Los Angeles Rams. But Saints running back Alvin Kamara took home the honor, which he has done four weeks in a row and five times overall. To no one's surprise, he is also one of five nominees again this week, along with Engram, Chargers defensive back Desmond King, Bears running back Tarik Cohen and Packers running back Jamaal Williams.

Engram currently leads all rookies in touchdown catches, and is first among rookie tight ends in receptions (51), receiving yards (569), 20-yard plays (nine) and first downs (30).
