Q: Coach Gilbride said that it's time for you to show some stuff.A: Yeah. I've been here three years. I know the offense and it's time for me to go out there and make some plays and contribute to my team. I understand where he's coming from.

Q: Do you feel that it puts pressure on you?A: No. I don't think it's pressure. I'm going into my third year. I agree with him. It's time for me to go out there and start making plays and start helping my team out besides just special teams.

Q: Do you feel this is the year to start producing numbers?A: Yeah. I think that every year going out there, especially this year going into my third year. I know all the offense. It's time for me to step up, make plays and help Hakeem and Cruz when I'm out there.

Q: For as long as Victor is out, do you feel like it's good for you?A: Until he comes back, I'll be a Z out there making plays.

Q: How much better do you feel about the kick return game? If you could seize that, it would be a real good way for you to contribute.A: It's wide open. We're still out there competing and trying to solidify a good punt return back there.

Q: Do you feel confident this year in terms of doing that?A: At practice I had a lot of work. Coach has been harping on me about the way I'm catching it. So he finally convinced me to change my techniques back there, so I've been changing my techniques and it's been coming along very good.

Q: Breaking old habits?A: We're breaking old habits that I had.

Q: What's the main difference?A: Basically I was catching it with my hands kind of like how I'm catching a pass. Now I'm letting it come to my body. It took me a while to get used to that, so now I'm comfortable doing it.

Q: What's your confidence level in showing the coaches what you can do out there?A: My confidence is always high. I never get down on myself. No matter what any article says, I still know what I can do. My confidence level is really high. I still go out there every day like it's a workday for me, no matter if I'm starting, not playing or whatever.
