BRIAN DABOLL: So good to come out here on the road, get a win. A lot of the resiliency obviously the way it started out, 100-yard return after we drove the ball down on them. Thought we played good, efficient football. Thought the quarterback played good again. That starts it. The run game was good. Pass game was efficient. Hit a couple big plays. And then defensively and special teams, you know, grinding back and forth. They got a lot of talent on their football team. Good offensive football team. They been doing a good job defensively taking away passes. But proud of the guys to come out here, play a good game, and get a win on the road. You know, I think it was Tuesday (special teams coordinator Mike Ghobrial) Ghobi brought that play up to me. You know, he talked about who he thought would be a good candidate to do the jump. Isaiah (Simmons) came to mind. He executed perfectly. Proud of our team, our coaches. They put a lot of hard work to come out here on the road. Started out similar, not the same, but similar to the Cleveland week when we bounced back. So proud of the guys. Competed well. Got the result we wanted. Really the process is what I'm proud of, how they stayed true to it, how they practiced, how they prepared, meetings, all those type of things. Good win.

Q. What leads to you think -- what did you see that made you think that that play would work here?

BRIAN DABOLL: Well, you put a lot of trust in your assistants. (special teams coordinator Mike Ghobrial) Ghobi showed me a few clips. And we held it, too. I kept asking for it during the game. I thought we probably had a chance and Ghobi was like, I just want to set it up, one more, one more. There is risk-reward, because if you get a penalty then it's first down for the offense. I thought Ghobi did a good job setting up the rush. Called it at the perfect time. Then, you know, Isaiah (Simmons) is over there before the play practicing get-offs and what he's doing, so he was prepared to go. We had Dexter (Lawrence II) in there. Well-executed play. Critical situation.

Q. Brian, did you guys notice the (indiscernible) would always typically go real low when you blocked like that?

BRIAN DABOLL: Yeah, I'm not going to get into the strategy. We put a lot of hard work into it every week as a coaching staff. That's our job, is to try to put the players in the best position we can, and then ultimately on Sundays it's their job to go out there and perform and execute and work together with the coaches and give and take stuff. Good team win.

Q. Isaiah Simmons, he usually is on that...

BRIAN DABOLL: Yeah, it was just a good game plan play by (special teams coordinator Mike Ghobrial) Ghobi and the special teams guys. You know, I was asking for it a little bit earlier, and just got a lot of trust in our coaching staff. It's a very cohesive unit all the way through, special teams, defense, offense. Bunch of good people to work with.

Q. As a playcaller, how challenging was it, your starting running back is not there, so you have a rookie. Obviously Malik Nabers is not there. Do you change things up and maybe use some guys in those situations or you have to trust rookies?

BRIAN DABOLL: I mean, that's the job of a coach. That's what you work during the week for. We moved (Darius) Slayton over where (Malik) Nabers was a bunch, and he was on the other side usually, so now he has to learn the whole -- not learn because he's been with us since we've been here, and one of the reasons is because he's very dependable and he's smart. So to hear a personnel group for training camp and all this, you're going to this position and all of a sudden have to flip and go to that position, that's Slay though. He's a great teammate and he's always done whatever we have asked of him. I've said that numerous times. I'm happy for him. What was his production? I know was probably quite a bit. You know, it was good to see the rookies. They're developing still. This is October now, so you're trying to figure out September some of the things you need to work on. And one game really has nothing to do with the next. We'll do it all over again against a very challenging opponent, high powered team coming up here in a week.

Q. Dabs, how did the moment for Isaiah Simmons in particular, a guy who some weeks hasn't dressed and then today he does what he does?

BRIAN DABOLL: Yeah, I think he's dressed every week if I'm not mistaken. I said that. I gave him a game ball. You know, look, he's a high first round pick. He's been on a couple different teams. There are certain roles that he plays, and not everybody is a starter for you. I mean, the people that play behind them or the roles, specific roles we have, they have to execute their job at a high level, whatever that role is. That's what good teammates do. You know, certainly everybody wants the ball on offense or to play 100% of the time. This is a team game, so and you can only put 11 out there. When your number is called, we're expecting to you make the play. I'm proud of the young man for that. He made one hell of a play at the end of the game to seal it. I give (special teams coordinator Mike Ghobrial) Ghobi a lot of credit. First-year coordinator. Schemed it up, brought it up. You know, was good team win.

Q. What impressed you about Tyrone Tracy, his running?

BRIAN DABOLL: Got a lot of yards. He was productive. He was tough. I mean, I don't know if he needs to eat more on the sideline, whatever it is. Get him the ball. You know, he ran hard. He saw the holes. He pressed the hole. Something we been working hard on him with is pressing the hole and setting up your blocks. Made some extra yards with the ball in his hand. I don't know, he had a bunch of yards, too, right? What was it?

Q. Over 100.

BRIAN DABOLL: He had to have high average.

Q. He wanted to be fed on the sideline?

BRIAN DABOLL: Yeah. They all do. There are certain plays we left out there, too. So a lot of things to clean up. But I'm proud of our team. I'm proud of our coaches to come all the way across the country and lose a tough couple games here in the last month, which I thought we competed at. I think we're getting better. Certainly not there, but I just think the cohesiveness of the staff, the players, I think that's important, particularly early on in the year. A lot of hard workers. A lot of team players, put the team first. But long way to go. It's one game in a tough environment. What I'm proud of is how they responded to early in the game when the big play happened. It was very similar to Cleveland. Let me say this. Somebody asked about the fans. Our fans were awesome again. We're at Washington, traveling out on the road. I mean, it's nice to hear New York Giants chant at the end of the game. You know, so shoutout to the fans.

Q. Dabs, how fun is it to coach Daniel Jones when he's playing the level he is?

BRIAN DABOLL: It's always been fun to coach him because he's a true pro. Again, always want the results, but have a lot of confidence in him, how he's playing, how he's preparing. You know, feel comfortable putting the ball in his hands. That's what we did early in the game. We went after them a little bit throwing the ball. So got a lot of confidence in him.

Q. When he's running and lowering his shoulder to the defenders, does that type of thing bleed in a good way?

BRIAN DABOLL: Yeah, yeah. Any time a quarterback does that. You got to be smart about it. But he's a true competitor. There was a play couple weeks back, him pushing on the go line in Cleveland. He's a competitive young man, who again, Daniel Jones has done everything that I and we have asked him to do. He's here early. He stays late. He's got good leadership traits. It's never been easy for him, but everything we've asked him to do he does it the very best he can do it. He's played some good football here. We're going to need him to continue to do that.

Q. What about Slay... (indiscernible.) Then he comes right back and gets a big touchdown catch?

BRIAN DABOLL: Yeah, I didn't see the play. Certainly something that we showed in abundance here the last couple weeks. I'm not sure he was really doing what I think he was doing -- he was very regretful and remorseful for doing it. We talked about it a bunch. And then we go ahead and, look, that play that he hit, he wasn't even the primary guy. Wan'Dale (Robinson) was. They kind of played a little bit of a double move and that was the secondary read. Unbelievable play by D.J. (Daniel Jones) to see it and great route by 86 on that big. I don't know how many yards was it, Jordan?

Q. 41.

BRIAN DABOLL: 41, okay.

Q. (Regarding how that O-line group has come together.)

BRIAN DABOLL: Yeah, I said this, they're a veteran group. Well coached by Carmen (Bricillo) and James (Ferentz). There is good chemistry in that room. A lot of extra meetings, not just with the line, but they're staying late on Wednesdays and Thursdays and getting all sorts of food. Running backs are staying in there. You know, it's good food, too. It's just they're a close knit group. That's what you need to be offensive line-wise. They're veterans that have played a lot of football. Again, this is our second win. Certainly we would like to have more. But we don't. So go back to work this week, and do the very best we can.

Q. How much do you think it helped Tyrone Tracy that he got in a rhythm, right, and (indiscernible). You think that matters more maybe for a young running back, to be more involved rather than having to sit there and wait for his opportunities?

BRIAN DABOLL: Yeah, I would probably say there is truth to that. I think for any running back, the more carries you get the more lathered you get. The carries have to be productive carries. You know, you go out and hand it off and you gain a yard and zero, you know, one of the things we are one of the most productive times in the first four week passing of football self caught-wise on first down production, and less on run game. I don't know what the numbers are today, but something we'll continue to look at, of giving ourselves a good chance on second down or even skipping some of those when we're not having 18 third downs again. I don't know how many we had today. But certainly I think for any player, when you get into a rhythm, it's like a streaky basketball shooter. The more you shoot the more you're going to make.

Q. Did you think at all about quarterback sneak on the play that Eric Gray fumbled? Such a short distance there.

BRIAN DABOLL: Well, I'm not going to get into strategy. It was couple things there. But they made a good play on the edge. We can get it in. Again, the thing I'm most proud of is how we came back here.

Q. Malik Nabers text you at all?

BRIAN DABOLL: I don't know. I'll see right here. I got 141 texts right now. I'll get started.

Quarterback Daniel Jones

Q. How does a win like this feel?

DANIEL JONES: Yeah, feels good. Big time play at the end obviously by Isaiah (Simmons) and special teams. Defense played great all day against a really good offense. Feels good. I think like any game, there is some stuff we want to do better and clean up, but got to enjoy these.

Q. What's going through your head as you watch that field goal kick?

DANIEL JONES: I think just hoping something like that happens. Huge play by Isaiah (Simmons), that whole unit. Thought special teams played great today. I think at that point you're having conversations about what we're going do in two-minute, what that will look like. So just trying to be prepared. Yeah, huge play.

Q. What was your mindset coming into this game with no Malik Nabers, no Devin Singletary?

DANIEL JONES: Yeah, I mean, confident. You know, we've said since training camp how much we like our skill guys and how deep we think those positions are. You saw a lot of guys step up today and make a lot of plays. When we say that we mean it. We have a lot of confidence in those guys. You know, they stepped up and played very well.

Q. You had drives of 16, 12, and 11 plays. Time of possession was just crazy at one point. Is that your typical offense? Is it something you saw with them? Just the way the game played out?

DANIEL JONES: I think we've done that, you know, at points this season. When we're executing well, I think, yeah, just being consistent, moving the ball, throwing it, running it, couple chunks here and there. I think we've been able to do that. Yeah, I think that's just about consistent execution. Yeah, I think it's a good defense we played today and they got a lot of good players. We always try to focus on what we need to do to execute.

Q. How comfortable did you feel today? Seemed like you were in control the whole game.

DANIEL JONES: Yeah, felt really comfortable. Thought the guys up front played really well all day, in the pass game and the run game. I thought they played a really good game.

Q. (Regarding getting the run game going.)

DANIEL JONES: I think it was huge. A lot was made of not being able to run the ball as well last week. I think when you look at our start to the season, you know, we've run the ball well for, you know, most of the time. We're confident in our run game. You saw that today in how they played. I think we understand who we are and what we can be. I think, yeah, you try not to get too distracted by some of the stuff that comes up after one game. We have a lot of confidence in our run game.

Q. That's a constant thing in New York for you, media attention and constant storylines. How do you handle that and not get distracted?

DANIEL JONES: I think just knowing what's real, knowing what's actually going on, what happened. You know, you can't follow the storyline of the week. You know, I think that's just about focusing on what we do, listening to the opinions that matter. That's the people in the building, coaches, teammates, and focus on that. You know, not distracting yourself or allowing yourself to look outside of it. So I thought we did a good job of that this week, and that's important for us as a team. But always be a story of the week or a kind of idea that's out there and it's our job to know what's real and fixe the problems that are real and also to ignore the things that aren't.

Q. Has that process or mindset evolved over the years?

DANIEL JONES: I think you get better at it the more time you do it. Yeah, just practicing staying focused on what is important.

Q. The 41-yarder to Darius Slayton on the sideline, how good did that feel for you?

DANIEL JONES: Good. Yeah. I think, yeah, you know, there is a storyline I guess there.

Q. That's why I asked.

DANIEL JONES: Yeah, you know, I'm confident. I think we're all confident in what we can do and our ability. You know, I think that's, yeah, a little example of focusing on what's real and staying confident in what you do.

Q. The touchdown pass to Slay, can you talk about that one?

DANIEL JONES: He ran a really good route, got wide open, and just tried to lay it out for him and let him run under it. Great call there I thought by Dabs (Brian Daboll), and then Slay did a really good job. Chris did a good job sealing the edge there, giving me a place to throw it. Slay stepped up and had a big time game today.

Q. You said you were in a good spot with your deep ball; you showed it today. You were in a good spot with the deep ball.

DANIEL JONES: I'm confident in my deep ball. Yeah, keep throwing it and trusting it.

Q. One of the things that the people in the building have said since the offseason is that we need to get the '22 Daniel back, the playoff Daniel back. Do you feel like you're back at that level where you were at the end of that season?

DANIEL JONES: I don't know if I'm comparing my performance to anything in the past. I think just kind of focusing on what I'm doing right now. I feel like I'm a better player than I was then. I'm a better player every week. That's what you're always striving for. You know, I get comparing to '22 or years past or whatever that -- I don't know how productive that really is. Just focus on getting better right now and being the best I can be week to week.

Q. What did you see from your O-line today to open up those running lanes a little bit?

DANIEL JONES: I thought they did a really good job executing and giving our backs places to run. Backs did a good job hitting it. I think mixed up different schemes and stuff that was all good and productive for us. Coaches did a really good job with that. Guys up front executed, so, yeah, good to see.

Q. Did you say anything to the team after the fumble at the goal line there?

DANIEL JONES: Just communicating that we had a good drive, productive drive. Drove all the way down the field. Got to finish and finish in the end zone. But get some confidence from the fact that we executed all the way down the field and did what we wanted to do. Just got to finish. I think guys did a good job kind of staying resilient and understanding a lot of the football left to play, and that's what we did.

Q. What impressed you about Tyrone Tracy's running?

DANIEL JONES: Just running really hard. He's a hard guy it tackle. Hit the hole hard and then making guys miss at the second level on a couple of those runs. I thought he had a really good game.

Q. What does a win like this do for New York. Long plane ride, people hurt, other people stepping up, you guys got that block. What does a win like this do going forward?

DANIEL JONES: I think obviously you feel good about it and did a lot of things well. I think just want to look back at the things you can improve on and take a step there. A source of confidence for us and something we can build on going forward.

Defensive Lineman Dexter Lawrence

Q: (On what Lawrence has to say about the Giants defense today)

A: "I think we stood up when we had to and made plays when we had to. That's winning football."

Q: (On what it takes to sustain a winning streak)

A: "Understanding the goal at the end of the day. We can celebrate this one on the plane route but when Monday hits, we turn the chapter."

Q: (On what added to the pass rush)

A: "I think we executed the plan well, and the defensive backs were covering well. They gave us time to get there. Geno was looking for a second and third read and that gave us time."

Q: (On stopping Kenneth Walker III)

A: "It was a big emphasis. He's a special running back. We had to stop the run early and often."

Running Back Tyrone Tracy Jr.

Q: (On the feelings of trying to put the game away)

A: "I would say the butterflies is something that is always going to happen on game day. I prepare the right way; I have people around me that help me prepare, help me throughout the week, help me with film study, knowing the backers, knowing the D-line. For me personally, when you get out there after that first snap, the butterflies need to go away. You have to stay focused, understand the game plan, and rely on your fundamentals and technique."

Q: (On what worked today)

A: "I would say the O-line. If you go back and watch the tape, you will see that there are places in their (Seattle) D-line on their side of the ball, and for me it makes it way easier to see the lanes, and know where the point is, and making a run after that. My biggest thing is, I always want to be an explosive runner, so every time I touch the ball, I want it to be a positive gain."

Q: (On running the ball inside and outside of the tackles)

A: "I feel like my game is very unique. I can run like a receiver, but then I can also do the inside game as well. That kind of gets lost in translation just because I'm a receiver, coming to running back. The big question coming into the league was 'Can he run inside zone?' Obviously, I can run the outside stuff, I can do the open space, but they didn't know if I could do it in between the tackles. I think today I answered that."

Wide Receiver Bryce Ford-Wheaton

Q: (On how it felt making a big special teams play against the Seahawks)

A: "It feels good, but it's never really about me. Everybody on the field does their job and they put me in a position to succeed. Shout out to coach Michael Ghobrial, Isaiah Simmons and all my teammates over on special teams. We're all playing the roles to the best of our ability to get the win."

Q: (On the feeling of a special teams touchdown opposed to a receiving touchdown)

A: "That was my first special teams touchdown. I don't really know how to receive in-fields, in the league at least. It felt good, it was kind of just a blur."

Q: (On if the team practiced the blocked field goal attempt earlier in the week)

A: "We didn't even practice Isaiah (Simmons) jumping over, we just knew he was capable of doing it. Big shout out to him."

Offensive Tackle Jermaine Eluemunor

Q: (On blocking for Tyrone Tracy)

A: "Tracy (is) a baller. Tracy is a baller. You all saw it today. We had the ball; we had two, three really good running backs in that backfield. Tracy said he was just going to go out there and do his thing, and that's what he did. His patience in the backfield - the way he just hit the hole and created something out of nothing is ridiculous. Once he gets more comfortable in the system, sky's the limit."

Q: (On the emotions of bouncing back from the fumble on the goal line)

A: "Well, think about Cleveland. In Cleveland, we're about to get the ball, we fumble, then they score a touchdown. Now we come back on the field and try to pick up all of the crumbs that were left for us. Plus, I think it just shows how mature this team is; how the mentality of this team is completely different. It doesn't matter how much we're down by. We're always going to be in the game, and we're going to try and get back to where we need to be. In the last five weeks, we have been moving the ball up and down the field, it's just about finishing. We did a great job today finishing, and we worked as a team to get better as each week goes on."

Q: (On the improvements of the pass protection)

A: "Yeah, I think D.J. (Daniel Jones) has been balling out, and the receivers are doing a great job of getting out of their route to receive the ball. And also, just taking pride in protecting D.J. I keep saying he's a great quarterback. If you give him time, he's going to dice up defenses. Ultimately, we take it on our shoulders to give him as much time as he needs. I don't care how long he needs to hold the ball for, I'm going to make sure I block my guy, and block him for as long as I can. The rest of the four guys on the O-line feel the same way."

Safety/Linebacker Isaiah Simmons

Q: (On what factors contributed to his successful block...)

A: "Focus and preparation."

Q: (On what was going through his mind as he prepared for the play...)

A: "I knew I was going to be able to get up high enough. My biggest thing was being able to double-bounce. So land, and go right back up. There's no time for anything else. Once I felt myself clear, the only thing in my mind, I'm like, is touch and go, touch and go, touch and go. I guess my long jump skills came into play there."

Q: (On what impact the situation had on his effort...)

A: "I didn't really think too much think of it like that. Obviously it was a very big play to end the game. It caused us to win the game. Keep it real. Just how my season has gone so far hasn't been at all what I wanted. Just being able to come in there and make that play for the guys, you know. I don't know, they can believe in me or not. That was moreso what I wanted to do. Just show them I'm capable of making those game-changing plays regardless if it's at the very end or if it's in the first quarter. Personally, I believe that I'm the type of player that can help the team make plays like that often."

Q: (On if he means on defense as well...)

A: "Correct, correct."

Q: (On if this was a planned play they worked on in practice...)

A: "We practiced that. I've only practiced it once, though. So that was my second live rep."

Q: (On if the play came up on Tuesday...)

A: "Yeah. It was just kind of random. I didn't practice it until Friday, though. Friday I did it one time, and that was it."

Q: (On if it worked in practice...)

A: "Yeah, but you know, it's practice. So the guy (long snapper) is obviously letting me get over him."

Q: (On if this was his first such involvement in a blocking scheme...)

A: "That was the first time. I'm normally not on field goal blocks. I said today I was going to block a punt or field goal, one of the two. I didn't know which one, But it was going to be one of them."

Q: (On if a track & field coach somewhere is happy for him...)

A: "For sure, for sure. I'm sure my Clemson jump coach, I'm sure he's happy for me right now. All my Jamaican coaches from growing up, I know they're all happy with me. I know they're all smiling somewhere. Like, there goes that track background. My dad is probably as happy as hell, too, right now. My phone is going crazy right now."

Q: (On the difficulty...)

A: "I think the hardest part is you have to jump up first and then go forward, because you can't touch anywhere else or it gets called back."

Q: (On Bryce Ford-Wheaton's return...)

A: "I said, be prepared to scoop, because it's getting blocked. See that ball off wherever it hits, just see it off. I promise it's getting blocked. So just be ready to scoop. He was more than ready to scoop from what I've seen I'm happy for BFW. Good for him."

Q: (On the successful outcome...)

A: "My college roommate plays for the Seahawks, K'Von Wallace, he saw me in there. He knows I'm not on the (block team). He said (after the game), when I saw you in the interior, he's like, he's going to jump. Only he noticed, I guess. Nobody else noticed."

Guard Jon Runyan Jr.

Q: (On what worked well for the offense today)

A: "No pre-snap penalties. I don't think any holdings, just clean up front. Ran the ball effectively, what we weren't able to do last week. We've been doing a great job in protection. Just got to keep it up and keep getting after it in practice. That's where it starts."

Q: (On if this is the blueprint for how the offense can operate)

A: "I've known since the OTA's and training camp that this team has all the pieces that we need to be successful. We're also very young too. It's seeing that out in the field on Sunday and executing on Sunday. Building that confidence in the young guys, our skill players on the edge and our defense. I think our defense is one of the best defenses in the NFL. Giving the defense something to play for, us just doing our job and handling everything up front. I think this team is going to go as far as this O-line and our D-line plays. We take pride in that."

Wide Receiver Darius Slayton

Q: (On how he'd describe today's game)

A: "Electric. It was a great atmosphere. Obviously it was a lot of fun to come away with the win. Heck of a play by Isaiah (Simmons) there at the end. Big game for us."

Q: (On the differences and challenges of playing from the other side this week)

A: "It's basically opposite for me. Where I'm used to going, I'm going the other way. Just trying to do my best to remember that. I definitely went the wrong way a time or two. I got it together. I was able to do decent today."

Q: (On coming into Seattle and winning without key pieces on offense)

A: "This is a really good football team. Obviously we would've loved to have those guys. But guys had an opportunity to step up and make plays. Guys made enough plays for us to win today."

Q: (On his resilience and the resilience of the team)

A: "You have to have a short memory. Obviously we came out on the first drive, we drive it down there, fumble and give up a touchdown. It went from being about as good as you can start to as bad as it can go. That's just who we're trying to become as a team. Our identity is being resilient and being able to overcome."

Q: (On Daniel Jones' game today)

A: "He played great. He played a heck of a game, he operated well. Got the ball out fast, was efficient. He's playing good ball right now."

Outside Linebacker Brian Burns

Q: (On the Giants offense keeping the Seattle offense off the field)

A: "We didn't have a crazy load today. The offense drove down the field and kept their defense on the field. When we came in, we were pretty fresh."

Q: (On what this win says about the team's resilience)

A: "All in all, I understand the records, but a record doesn't always define who you are and what you can do. I feel like a couple of our games slipped away because of unfortunate events. But at the same time, I firmly believe in not letting that affect and define who you are. That's kind of what this game represents. I'm pretty sure everyone was against us in this one."

Q: (On if this win builds confidence in winning the division)

A: "Definitely. We can definitely take this energy and this momentum into next week. We have a big game on Sunday Night Football against the Bengals. That's what we're on to next."
