• The Giants won their fourth consecutive game after an 0-6 start. They are the second team in NFL history to follow a start of exactly 0-6 with four consecutive victories. The 2009 Tennessee Titans lost their first six games and won the next five.

  The Giants have put together a four-game winning streak for the second year in a row. In 2012, they went 4-0 in October by defeating Cleveland, San Francisco, Washington and Dallas.

• The Giants trail 6-5 Philadelphia and 5-5 Dallas in the NFC East. They host the Cowboys next week.

• The Giants' defense held the Packers to 55 rushing yards, the third opponent in four games to run for fewer than 60 yards. Eddie Lacy, who entered the game as the NFL's eighth-leading rusher with an average of 73.3 yards a game, was held to 27 yards on 14 carries. He had run for at least 70 yards in each of the previous six games.

• The defense held the Packers to two field goals in the first half. It was the third time in their four-game winning streak the Giants did not give up a first-half touchdown (also vs. Minnesota on Oct. 21 and at Philadelphia the following week). Oakland scored a first-half touchdown last week, but traveled just five yards after recovering a fumble on the opening kickoff.

• Lacy scored the Packers' second touchdown on a four-yard run with 12:43 remaining in the fourth quarter. It was the first second half touchdown allowed by the Giants' defense since Oct. 6, when Philadelphia's DeSean Jackson scored on a five-yard pass from Nick Foles with 8:24 remaining in the fourth quarter.

• Tom Coughlin won his 155th regular-season game as an NFL head coach. That broke a tie with Hall of Famer Joe Gibbs and moved Coughlin into 15th place on the league's career list, three wins behind Bud Grant – who is also in the Hall of Fame. Coughlin has also won 12 postseason games for a total of 167 victories. That puts him in 16th place, one behind Grant.

• Eli Manning completed 25 of 35 passes for 279 yards, a touchdown and an interception that Coughlin said was not his fault. It was the fourth time this season Manning completed at least 25 passes in a game. His passer rating of 92.4 was his second-highest of the season; he had a rating of 102.3 on opening night in Dallas.

• Victor Cruz had team-high totals of eight receptions for 110 yards, the Giants' first 100-yard receiving performance since Hakeem Nicks had 142 yards on nine catches against Philadelphia on Oct. 6. It was Cruz's fourth 100-yard game of the season and the 16th of his career in the regular season. The Giants are 8-8 in those games. They are 29-26 in regular-season games under Coughlin when at least one receiver has 100 or more yards.

• Rueben Randle caught three passes for 37 yards, including a 26-yard touchdown. It was his sixth score of the season, which is two more than Cruz and Brandon Jacobs have.

• Randle's touchdown was set up by his career-long 32-yard punt return. His previous long return was an 18-yarder at Philadelphia on Sept. 30, 2012. Randle's longest return this season had been a 14-yarder at Dallas on Sept. 8.

• Andre Brown led the Giants' rushing attack with 18 carries for 66 yards. Though he has played in only two games, Brown leads the Giants with 181 rushing yards. His 48 carries are one less than Jacobs' team-leading total.

• Jacobs played for the first time since Oct. 10 in Chicago, where he ran for 106 yards. He missed the previous three games with hamstring and knee injuries. Jacobs scored the Giants' second touchdown on a one-yard run in the third quarter. It was his 60th career rushing touchdown, extending his franchise record. Tiki Barber is second in Giants history with 55 rushing touchdowns.

• Jacobs twice converted fourth down opportunities, first with a five-yard run in the opening quarter and with a two-yard run in the second quarter.

Jason Pierre-Paul scored the Giants' final touchdown when he intercepted a Scott Tolzien pass and returned it 24 yards for a touchdown with 10:49 remaining in the game. It was the Giants' first defensive touchdown since Nov. 4, 2012, when Michael Boley returned a fumble 70 yards for a score against Pittsburgh. It was the team's first score on an interception return since Oct. 28, 2012, when Pierre-Paul picked off a Tony Romo pass and returned it 28 yards for a touchdown in Dallas.

• Linebacker Jon Beason intercepted his first pass since being acquired in a trade on Oct. 4. It was his 10th career interception and first since Sept. 16, 2010 for Carolina against New Orleans.

• Antrel Rolle got the Giants' third interception when he picked off Tolzien with 1:49 remaining in the game. Rolle has four interceptions this season, one shy of his career high set in 2007 with Arizona and his highest total since he had four in 2009 with the Cardinals. No other Giant has more than one pick this year.

• This was the Giants' first three-interception game since Oct. 14, 2012, when Rolle had two and Prince Amukamara one in a victory in San Francisco.

• Terrell Thomas, Jacquian Williams and Beason each had a team-high eight tackles. Thomas had seven solo tackles, while Williams and Beason had six apiece. Prince Amukamara also had six solo tackles.

• On the final play of the first half, Green Bay's Mason Crosby kicked a 57-yard field goal that was the longest ever against the Giants. The previous long was a 55-yarder by Washington's Brett Conway on Oct. 7, 2001 in Giants Stadium. Crosby's field was also the longest kicked in the four-year history of MetLife Stadium.

• Tolzien, starting for the injured Aaron Rodgers, completed 24 of 34 passes for 339 yards, no touchdowns and those three interceptions. Tolzien was the first opposing quarterback to throw for more than 300 yards against the Giants since Sept. 15, when Denver's Peyton Manning had 307 yards (Philadelphia's Michael Vick and Nick Foles combined for 302 yards on Oct. 6). Tolzien's 339 yards was the highest total by a Giants opponent since New Orleans' Drew Brees threw for 354 yards on Dec. 9, 2012.

• The Giants are 15-16 in regular-season games under Coughlin when an individual opposing quarterback throws for at least 300 yards.

• Green Bay's Jordy Nelson caught eight passes for 117 yards. The eight receptions were a season high by a Giants opponent and the yardage total trails only Philadelphia's DeSean Jackson, who finished with 132 yards on Oct. 6. The Giants are 20-20 in regular-season games under Coughlin when at least one opposing receiver has 100 or more yards.

• Steve Weatherford punted five times for a 53.0-yard gross average and a 42.2-yard net average. The net average was his highest of the season; the gross average trailed only his 54.7-yard average on Sept. 8 in Dallas.

• The Packers attempted a fake punt in the third quarter, but M.D. Jennings was tackled by Spencer Paysinger after running for six yards, one short of a first down.

• The game was played in 2:45, the Giants' shortest regular-season game since Dec. 5, 2004, when a 31-7 loss in Washington was also completed in 2:45. The Giants' 2005 NFC Wild Card Game loss to Carolina was played in 2:39.

• The Giants' inactive players were running back Peyton Hillis, cornerback Corey Webster (groin/ankle), linebacker Allen Bradford, tight end Adrien Robinson, offensive lineman Dallas Reynolds, defensive tackle Markus Kuhn and quarterback Ryan Nassib.
