As good as the Redskins are at running the football, they are as good at stopping it. So when Ahmad Bradshaw totaled 77 yards on 15 carries in the first half against the No. 3 run defense, the offense had to be clicking on all cylinders. Not exactly.

The Giants again struggled to punctuate their long, sustained drives with touchdowns, scoring just one while Lawrence Tynes made three of four field goal attempts.

"We've been going through it all year," Bradshaw said after the 17-16 road loss. "It's just something we've got to work on and go back to the books. We've just got to finish every play and we didn't."

Bradshaw notched his third 100-yard rushing game of the season (103 yards to be exact) on 24 attempts and added 13 more yards on two catches. Meanwhile, a lot of people were curious to see how much of the workload would be placed on David Wilson. The rookie became next in line after Andre Brown fractured his fibula last week against Green Bay. Wilson received four carries and took them for nine yards with a long of five.

But it was tough sledding for the entire offense for most of the second half as the Giants totaled just 122 of their 390 yards after the break.

"It was very tough," Bradshaw said. "Our O-line worked hard today and we ran hard. It's just tough to come out with a loss."

He added: "They came out real disciplined in the second half. We couldn't get it going. They had a great game today, and my hat goes off to them."
