On Friday, Brian Daboll declared two players out of Sunday's regular-season finale in Philadelphia, but otherwise declined to reveal any player participation plans for the Giants' rematch with the Eagles in Lincoln Financial Field.
Defensive lineman Leonard Williams (neck) and linebacker Azeez Ojulari (ankle) will both get the day off. Because the Giants are locked into the sixth seed in the NFC playoffs, it had been widely speculated how much several other starters and key reserves would play. But Daboll waited until Sunday to let anyone outside the locker room know how he wants to deploy his personnel.
"We don't talk a lot about injuries or who's playing," Daboll said Friday. "We go through the week of practice. We do the same thing Week 1. We have our meeting after practice. (General manager) Joe (Schoen) and I talk after practice, in the evening, Saturday. That's when we make our decisions."
Only two other players are on the team's final injury report. Cornerback Adoree' Jackson (knee) was doubtful and center Jon Feliciano (back) was questionable.
On Saturday, the Giants elevated quarterback Davis Webb and defensive tackle Jack Heflin off the practice squad.
