Which direction could Giants go on Day 2?

NFL-DRAFT-STAGE-MOODYS

The Giants had an exciting first night of the 2025 NFL Draft.

It began with the selection of Penn State edge rusher Abdul Carter at No. 3, a pick that current and former Giants alike seemed to be rather pumped up about.

But the fun did not end there. The Giants then packaged the No. 34 pick, the No. 99 pick, and next year's third-round pick to move up to No. 25. With that, they selected their quarterback of the future in Mississippi's Jaxson Dart.

Following the big move, the Giants are left with just one selection on Day 2 of the draft, along with four picks on Day 3.

2025 New York Giants Draft Order:

  • Round 1 – No. 3: Abdul Carter, Edge, Penn State
  • Round 1 - No. 25 (from Houston): Jaxson Dart, QB, Mississippi
  • Round 3 – No. 65
  • Round 4 – No. 105
  • Round 5 – No. 154 (from Seattle)
  • Round 7 – No. 219
  • Round 7 – No. 246 (from Buffalo)

Step into the draft room as the Giants select Abdul Carter and Jaxson Dart in the first round of the 2025 NFL Draft.

With that being said, here are the players that NFL analysts are projecting the Giants to take with the 65th overall pick.

Pick: Omarr Norman-Lott, DT, Tennessee

Analysis: "Norman-Lott possesses more NFL potential than his snap counts and stats say; look at his grades and win rates for a clearer picture. He is an athletically gifted, undersized 3-technique who, with better hand usage and pass-rush plans, can be a contributing starter."

Pick: Shavon Revel Jr., CB, East Carolina

Pick: Miles Frazier, IOL, LSU

Pick: Kyle Williams, WR, Washington State

Pick: Joshua Farmer, DT, Florida State

Pick: Aireontae Ersery, T, Minnesota

Pick: CJ West, DT, Indiana

Pick: Tre Harris, WR, Mississippi

Pick: Aireontae Ersery, T, Minnesota

Pick: Jack Bech, WR, TCU

Day 2 fit: Darien Porter, CB, Iowa State

Analysis: "Opposing QBs completed just 29.4% of passes into Porter's coverage last season."
