Monday night was ugly at times, but the Giants did enough to halt their skid against the Minnesota Vikings and notch their first victory of the season.
The Giants sit at the bottom of the NFC East, but they have a chance to improve to 2-6 when they face the divisional rival Philadelphia Eagles on the road on Sunday afternoon. New York will then go on its bye week before three straight home games against Oakland, Green Bay, and Dallas.
"We're excited and happy about winning," Tom Coughlin said yesterday on a conference call. "But quite frankly we're back to work and need to focus on a divisional game with Philadelphia."
