The Giants were in position to come away from Soldier field with their first victory of the season.
But on a Thursday night when they converted 7 of 11 third downs and had their first 100-yard rusher, the turnovers proved to be the difference against the Chicago Bears as the Giants fell to 0-6 after a 27-21 loss.
"We played hard," Giants coach Tom Coughlin said. "We played four solid quarters, and to lose the game under the circumstances that we did with a nice drive going, it was very disappointing. The locker room is very disappointed. The guys are frustrated, very frustrated, naturally. But they will stay together and support one another, fight for each other, and we'll prepare ourselves to try to win the next game."
