The Giants, barring another deal, are on track to select two players in the first round for the first time since 1984.

They picked up two more draft choices (No. 17 and No. 95 overall) when they sent wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. and linebacker Olivier Vernon to the Browns in exchange for safety Jabrill Peppers and guard Kevin Zeitler. Including the sixth overall pick, the Giants now have 12 total selections heading into the draft, which takes place April 25-27 in Nashville.

Below is a look at the latest mock drafts:

**Daniel Jeremiah, NFL.com**

No. 6: Daniel Jones, QB, Duke

Analysis: "If the Giants want a QB, it makes more sense to secure him at No. 6 than leave it to fate and wait until they're on the clock again at No. 17."

No. 17: Montez Sweat, EDGE, Mississippi State

Analysis: "The Giants end up with their edge rusher and quarterback but in the opposite order from what's been expected. Sweat could end up going later than some anticipate."

No. 6: Dwayne Haskins, QB, Ohio State

Analysis: "I'm sticking with Haskins to the Giants, even though they have a gaping void in their edge rush. I wouldn't be shocked if they didn't take a quarterback in Round 1, though."

No. 17: Clelin Ferrell, DE, Clemson

Analysis: "I gave New York a quarterback at No. 6, which means it has to address its pass rush with its other first-round pick. Ferrell is a prototypical 4-3 defensive end."

Analysis: "Gary is far from a finished product, but his combination of size, strength and athleticism could make him a star as a versatile edge defender."

Analysis: "The David Cutcliffe connection plays a big role in Jones landing with the Giants to be Eli's heir apparent."

Analysis: "After the OBJ trade to Cleveland, Giants fans are anxious to see how their extra first-round pick is used. The future successor for QB Eli Manning is plucked from the same tree, as both Manning and Jones were coached by Duke's David Cutcliffe."

Analysis: "The versatile Wilkins would be a good start in rebuilding the unit."

No. 17: Clelin Ferrell, EDGE, Clemson

Analysis: "After trading Odell Beckham, Jr. to the Cleveland Browns, the New York Giants own an extra pick in the first round. With Dwayne Haskins secured at No. 6 overall to play quarterback, the Giants' front office will likely look to bolster the defense. That's how general manager Dave Gettleman works. Right defensive end Clelin Ferrell can play with his hand in the dirt or standing up as an outside edge-rusher. Teams will love his length, burst and work ethic with a non-stop motor that allows him a number of effort sacks against top-tier blockers. Ferrell's ability to convert speed to power is eye-opening and could be everything the Giants are looking for in a top-tier defensive end to build around."

Analysis: "The makeover is officially underway with OBJ leaving town. Haskins has long seemed like the right guy for New York, given the value of an apprenticeship under Eli Manning. And GM Dave Gettleman's decisions to part with Beckham and S Landon Collins seem like a strong indication that he's less interested in winning now than setting this franchise up for the future. The Giants spurned the chance to draft a passer in Round 1 last year, but that seems unlikely now."

No. 17: Jeffery Simmons, DT, Mississippi State

Analysis: "He might be a top-five pick with a clean résumé, and that kind of value might be too good for Gettleman to pass up (even if Simmons' 6-4, 301-pound build isn't quite at Hog Molly specs) as he restocks New York's ailing defense."

**Peter Schrager, NFL Network**

No. 6: Drew Lock, QB, Missouri

Analysis: "There will be WFAN hysteria and message-board debates about this pick leading right up until the card is turned in. I do think the Giants will go quarterback, but not the guy everyone has pegged to them. Lock wowed folks at the Senior Bowl, has a ton of moxie and can rip it. Make no mistake: The fans may not agree with the choice. But I see Lock as a Giants quarterback before Dwayne Haskins. The "Kansas City model" plays out, and it's Eli passing the torch to the former Missouri Tiger, not the Ohio State Buckeye."

No. 17: Clelin Ferrell, Edge, Clemson

Analysis: "The leader of that loaded Clemson defensive line, Ferrell is one of the more decorated players in the entire draft, winning two national titles, notching a first-team All-ACC selection and the Ted Hendricks Award (college football's top defensive end). In 2018, he had 19.5 tackles for a loss, 11.5 sacks, four pass breakups and three forced fumbles. New York gets the edge rusher the Giants' unit so desperately needs."

Analysis: "Effortless explosiveness, springy agility, and a variety of pass-rush moves give him immense upside, but he'll need to prove he can keep his newly added weight on in the pros."

Analysis: "Big-armed pocket passer with a knack for the big play but inconsistencies in his accuracy, footwork, and decision-making."

Analysis: "Mapping out quarterback landing spots in a first-round mock draft is like playing matchmaker and finding two alike partners. That is certainly the case with Jones to the Giants with his connection to the Manning family and a situation where he can develop at his own pace behind the starter."

No. 6: Devin White, LB, LSU

Analysis: "White is a game-changer in the middle of the defense who stood out at the combine as one of the best prospects in this class, so if he gets by the Raiders and Buccaneers I can see the Giants hopping all over him and leaving their edge rusher need for later."

No. 17: Clelin Ferrell, OLB, Clemson

Analysis: "With their other first-round pick, the Giants land the last of the top-tier edge rushers in Ferrell, who might not be the perfect fit for the 3-4 but who should dominate in nickel packages and still be a force on all three downs."

No. 17: Greedy Williams, CB, LSU

Analysis: "Williams is a long, lean corner (6-2, 185 pounds) who has rare speed, quickness and agility for his size. He is not the most physical player, but he is fundamentally sound in coverage, and he uses his length at the line of scrimmage to break up routes."

No. 6: Rashan Gary, DL, Michigan

Analysis: "People will point to the production, but I think he checks all the boxes for what Dave Gettleman wants in a first-round pick. Huge upside, defensive lineman (if possible) and he's versatile in terms of where he can line up and play."

Analysis: "I don't think Dave Gettleman can pass up on this kid twice. And he just landed himself a pair of HOG MOLLIES."
