The New York Giants (2-11) host the Miami Dolphins, who fell to 3-10 this past Sunday with a one-point loss to the New York Jets – at MetLife Stadium. The Giants are 6-2 all-time against the Dolphins and have won their last three meetings.
Here are five players to watch:
WR DARIUS SLAYTON: With two more scores last week, Slayton leads all rookies with seven touchdown catches entering Week 15. His 96.5 receiving yards per game since Week 10 are the fourth-most in the NFL, including veterans.
QB ELI MANNING: Rookie quarterback Daniel Jones has been ruled out for the second consecutive week because of an ankle injury, which means Manning will start again for the Giants when they host the Miami Dolphins on Sunday. Manning completed 15 of 30 passes for 203 yards, two touchdowns and no interceptions last week against the Eagles.
DL LEONARD WILLIAMS: Williams spent over four years in the AFC East, which means he is familiar with the Dolphins and their quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick. Williams recorded five tackles (one for loss) and broke up a pass in his last game.
DL DALVIN TOMLINSON: Since Week 10, Tomlinson averages five tackles per game, the second-highest rate among all NFL defensive tackles. Davon Godchaux, who plays for the Dolphins, is first (5.6).
OL NICK GATES: Gates will start at right guard in place of Kevin Zeitler, who will miss his first game since 2014 because of ankle and wrist injuries. A first-year pro, Gates started one game this season, at right tackle against the Jets.
