LITTLE GIANTS GIVE BIG CELEBRATION
BY MATT COHEN
In Sunday's Week 13 contest against the New York Jets, Giants wide receiver/return specialist Dwayne Harris made franchise history and a pair of young fans very happy in the process.
Big Blue trailed the Jets, 3-0, to begin the second quarter when Harris fielded a punt at the Giants' 20-yard line. Harris made the first man miss, darted down the left sideline, and then avoided Jets punter Ryan Quigley before cutting back towards the middle of the field, where he avoided several more defenders en route to an 80-yard punt return for a touchdown.
With the score, Harris became the first player in Giants history with touchdowns on a punt return, kickoff return and a reception in the same season. The 80-yard punt return was also the longest by a Giants player in 16 years.
Every Giant fan watching Harris take it to the house was jumping for joy, but none more so than Eric Waksmunki's twin boys. Eric (Twitter handle @Ericwaxy) uploaded a video of his sons celebrating during the play, and the ensuing pandemonium that followed in his living room once Harris crossed into the end zone.
Check out the boys' enthusiastic reaction in the video below.
