The Giants travel to San Diego this weekend to face the Chargers for just the third time under Tom Coughlin.
They will be going up against an AFC West foe that is 5-7 on the season but has quality wins against Kansas City (9-3), Indianapolis (8-4), Philadelphia (7-5), and Dallas (7-5).
The Chargers rank fourth in the NFL in passing and 21st in rushing while their defense is 29th in yards allowed per game. However, they give up an average of just 23.1 points, which is good for 13th in the league.
"This is a team that's a very talented team," Coughlin said yesterday. "[It's] an explosive team, a physical team and a team which we look forward to as we dive into with the players being as interested and as anxious as we are to know as much as we can about this team and to study them because we've played them twice in the last eight years, but not recently."
