After wrapping up the first week of OTAs on Thursday, the Giants took a few days off from practice over the weekend.
Several members of the Giants decided to spend their time supporting some of the other local professional teams in the area.
Rookie outside linebacker and fifth overall pick in last month's draft Kayvon Thibodeaux traveled to the Bronx on Sunday to check out a Yankees game. Thibodeaux took the field before the Sunday night matchup against the Chicago White Sox to throw out the ceremonial first pitch.

In addition to Thibodeaux, head coach Brian Daboll made the short trek into Manhattan to support the New York Rangers during their Game 3 showdown against the Carolina Hurricanes at Madison Square Garden.
This was far from Daboll's first time cheering on the Rangers. The head coach has made it to four games over the last few weeks as the Rangers continue their pursuit of the Stanley Cup.
Coincidentally or not, the Rangers are 4-0 in those games, including Sunday's 3-1 victory.
"Really good example, though. You're down 3-1 in the series, 2-0 in Game 5 and 2-0 in Game 6 and everybody is writing you off, and what do they do? They just keep competing," Daboll said last week before the Rangers' took on the Penguins in Game 7 of the first round. "Put one in right after the other, then the other team comes back, scores right away, lose a little bit of momentum, and finish off the game strong. That's pretty cool team to watch right now...
"Look at the Kentucky Derby the other day. Horse wasn't even in the race, was it, until the last day? That's athletics. That's sports. You go through a lot of tough times. Got to stay mentally strong.
