Tom Coughlin usually opens his Wednesday press conference with a short scouting report on the upcoming opponent. He did so yesterday at the Quest Diagnostics Training Center, pinpointing how the Kansas City Chiefs went from a two-win franchise a year ago to a team off to a 3-0 start.
"The difference in their football team…does anybody know what it is?" Coughlin said. "Thirty-seven giveaways last year and zero this year. They're plus-nine, plus-nine after three games with no giveaways."
He went on to not their balanced offense and stout defense, which included a 4.5-sack performance by outside linebacker Justin Houston last week against Philadelphia.
