SERIES HISTORY
The Giants will look to reverse recent history after losing eight straight games to the Eagles and 20 of the past 25 meetings. The streak includes a 22-21 loss just three weeks ago in a game where the Giants led 21-10 with 6:17 left in the fourth quarter. The Giants trail the all-time series in the regular season, 86-83-2. They are tied 2-2 in postseason meetings.
LAST TIME OUT
The Giants (2-7) swept the season series against Washington with a 23-20 victory in Week 10. Meanwhile, the Eagles (3-4-1) sat idle last week after back-to-back victories over the Cowboys and Giants.
INJURY REPORT
New York Giants
- Out: RB Devonta Freeman (ankle/hamstring - placed on IR)
- Questionable: WR Golden Tate (knee), DB Isaac Yiadom (calf)
Philadelphia Eagles

GALLMAN'S TD STREAK
Running back Wayne Gallman, who had just three rushing touchdowns in his first three seasons combined, will look to run into the end zone for the fourth consecutive week. He led the Giants' rushing attack last week with 68 yards on 14 carries. Alfred Morris, recently activated off the practice squad, added 67 yards on nine attempts.
MACK ATTACK
Daniel Jones targeted 11 different players in Week 9, five of which went to undrafted rookie wide receiver Austin Mack. The Ohio State product led the team with 72 yards on four catches, including a 50-yard reception, which is the Giants' longest of the season.
GIVETH & TAKETH AWAY
The Giants had five takeaways and no giveaways in Week 9. Blake Martinez, Jabrill Peppers and Logan Ryan intercepted Alex Smith, and Peppers and Madre Harper recovered fumbles. It was their highest takeaway total and their best turnover differential since Sept. 25, 2014, when they had six takeaways (four interceptions and two fumble recoveries) against one giveaway at Washington.
With that performance, the Giants moved to even in turnover differential for the season. Philadelphia is minus-7. Only Dallas (minus-13) has a worse differential in the NFL. Washington is minus-6.
MUSICAL CHAIRS
Seven offensive linemen played snaps on offense last week: Nick Gates (77), Kevin Zeitler (77), Shane Lemieux (74), Andrew Thomas (68), Cameron Fleming (64), Matt Peart (24), Chad Slade (3). With Will Hernandez returning from the Reserve/COVID-19 list, the Giants still plan to rotate their guards and tackles.
