The New York Giants travel to face the Philadelphia Eagles on Monday night. Here are five players to watch:
ELI MANNING: After Daniel Jones suffered a high ankle sprain last Sunday, Manning is in line to return as the starting quarterback of the New York Giants for the 245th time overall and 32nd against the Eagles (including postseason).
WR STERLING SHEPARD: In six career games against the Eagles, Shepard has 35 catches for 457 yards and four touchdowns.
RB SAQUON BARKLEY: Barkley averaged 4.4 yards per carry last week, his highest since returning from an ankle injury. He has 371 yards from scrimmage and three touchdowns in two career games against Philadelphia, including a career-high 229 total yards in his first meeting as a rookie.
S JULIAN LOVE: With Jabrill Peppers dealing with a back injury, the rookie has stepped up at safety. He recorded seven tackles last week after grabbing his first career interception in the game before that.
WR GOLDEN TATE: Tate, who played the second half of last season in Philadelphia, has never lost to the Eagles in his three previous outings. He is averaging 12.5 yards per catch in his first season with the Giants, his best mark since 2014 with the Lions.
