GIANTS VISIT PEDIATRIC CANCER PATIENTS ON VALENTINE'S DAY
BY MATT COHEN
The New York Giants spread the love Valentine's Day, thanks to a special visit with dozens of pediatric cancer patients and their families at Ronald McDonald House® New York.
Five members of the 2007 championship team - Plaxico Burress, Rich Seubert, Chris Snee, Kevin Boothe and Giants' Director of Player Development David Tyree - were joined by current players Rhett Ellison and Ethan Cooper on the trip. All seven took a tour of the house and brought plenty of Valentine's Day goodie bags to pass out. These included beanies from Love Your Melon, an apparel brand dedicated to giving a hat to every child battling cancer in America.
Since its founding in 1978, Ronald McDonald House® New York has provided temporary lodging and care for more than 35,000 families with children battling cancer. For information about Ronald McDonald House® programs and how you can volunteer, visit the website HERE.
