The 25th pick has now been traded in seven consecutive drafts after the New York Giants traded with the Jacksonville Jaguars to move up to No. 24.
Last year, the 25th pick was dealt from Buffalo to Baltimore – which acquired it in three of the previous five drafts – before the Ravens selected Iowa center Tyler Linderbaum.
In his first draft as the general manager a year ago, Joe Schoen kept the fifth and seventh choices in the first round and the Giants acquired edge rusher Kayvon Thibodeaux and right tackle Evan Neal. But he twice traded back in the second round to acquire one extra pick in both the fourth and fifth rounds.
