Senior NFL columnist Pete Prisco of CBSSports.com continues to like the Giants, again ranking them in the top five at No. 4.
"They sure do make it hard on themselves the way they play down to lesser teams," Prisco wrote. "Or are they any good? The schedule gets tough the rest of the way, starting Sunday with New England."
NFC EAST: No. 4 Giants (previously ranked No. 5), No. 18 Eagles (21), No. 20 Cowboys (14), No. 22 Redskins (18).
In the NFL.com Power Poll, the Giants moved up a spot to No. 7.NFC EAST: No. 7 Giants (8), No. 15 Eagles (19), No. 20 Cowboys (16), No. 24 Redskins (22).
Brian Billick of FOX Sports had the Giants at No. 11, up one spot from last week.
"The Giants have a two-game lead in the NFC East, but it is hard to call it comfortable with the Eagles finally playing up to their potential, and the Patriots and 49ers as the next games on the schedule," Billick wrote. "Eli Manning is having a career year after losing his two favorite targets in Steve Smith and Kevin Boss."
NFC EAST: No. 11 Giants (12), No. 15 Eagles (17), No. 18 Cowboys (18), No. 24 Redskins (21).
ESPN.com slid the Giants up to No. 9.
"The Giants have a two-game lead in the NFC East and a murderous six-game stretch ahead, beginning Sunday at New England," Ashley Fox wrote.
NFC EAST: No. 9 Giants (11), No. 16 Eagles (22), No. 21 Cowboys (18), No. 22 Redskins (20).
WFAN's Joe Benigno put the Giants at No. 8 on his list of the top 10 teams.
"They struggled versus the winless 'Fish' at the Meadowlands but a win is a win," writes Benigno. "Eli playing his best football since his Super Bowl run in '07. Now if they could only run the ball and stop the run with the 'fun' part of their schedule coming up."
