EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. - NBC 4 New York and Telemundo 47 are teaming up with the four-time Super Bowl champion New York Giants for the third annual FREE family-friendly Health & Fitness Expo, presented by Quest Diagnostics™. One of the largest and open-to-the-public health events, the Health & Fitness Expo will be held at MetLife Stadium on Saturday, June 27th and Sunday, June 28th from 10:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. each day.
NBC 4's lead sportscaster Bruce Beck once again joins New York Giants' Steve Weatherford to co-host the NBC 4 New York & Telemundo 47 Health & Fitness Expo. This year, Beck, along with NBC 4 New York and Telemundo 47 anchors and reporters, will be on hand throughout the weekend, as well as some favorite Giants players, to meet attendees and sign autographs. Visitors to the Health & Fitness Expo will have the opportunity to walk on the actual field where their favorite players play and even have access to exclusive locker room tours.
The Health & Fitness Expo will offer an extensive lineup of events and exhibits located throughout MetLife Stadium, ranging from tests and screenings to fitness and safety activities. Quest Diagnostics™ will provide free health screenings throughout the Expo. New events this year include Hackensack UMC Fitness & Wellness Powered by the Giants, including a Mega Yoga event called "Zen in the Zone" where a crowd is expected to practice yoga on the field of MetLife Stadium.

This year, Telemundo 47 will host more events than ever before. On the main stage, visitors can enjoy musical performances and dancing demos from a variety of performers including online Sensation Lejuan James, Brazilian Extravaganza with Zamba Novo, Baila Conmigo from 'Dancing with the Stars,' Mariachi Real de México and tango dancers Slawek y Zoya. Visitors can also participate in Telemundo 47's Interactive News Weather Station and meet Meteorologist Andrea Romero and Weather Anchors Victoria Sosa and Janice Bencosme. For the kids, Telemundo 47 is partnering with Euro Youth Football Association, to provide a free soccer clinic to children and teenagers during the two days of the event.
In addition, the Health & Fitness Expo is full of comprehensive activities designed to educate adults and children about a variety of health issues and treatments. Visitors will be able to enjoy healthy cooking demos with a celebrity chef and engage in celebrity meet and greets and autograph signings. The "Family Fun Zone" will be open to attendees of all ages and will provide health and fitness information geared just for the kids. Experts on hand will focus on integrative approaches to disease prevention covering such topics as diet, and nutrition, while others will offer free health screenings.
FREE parking will be available. The Port Authority bus service will also provide transportation to and from the event. The 351 Bus Service will run hourly on Saturday, June 27th and Sunday, June 28th from 9:00AM to 4:00 PM. The buses will go from Port Authority Bus terminal to MetLife Stadium Lot K, and will be located in Gates 305 and 306 at the Port Authority.
Additional events that will take place onsite in the Toyota Club include a Hiring our Heroes job fair for veterans on Saturday, June 27th with an employment workshop.

"Zen in the Zone" Mega Yoga Event

The "Zen in the Zone" Mega Yoga event, sponsored by Hackensack UMC Fitness & Wellness, will take place on Sunday, June 28th at MetLife Stadium, on the very field where the New York Giants play.
Come join New York Giants' Steve Weatherford and thousands of yogis who are expected to be in attendance for "Zen in the Zone"; but only the first 500 individuals to arrive for the event will be given FREE yoga bags. So grab your yoga mat and a water bottle and come join NBC 4 New York and Telemundo 47.
This Mega Yoga event is designed to get participants moving, introducing a relaxed and healthy routine. This yoga event will open the second day of the NBC 4 New York and Telemundo 47 Health and Fitness Expo presented by Quest DiagnosticsTM, where all participants can enjoy a day filled with fitness and health-related activities, including FREE health screenings provided by Quest DiagnosticsTM after "Zen in the Zone" commences!
