New York, NY – Fresh off of a dramatic win in Washington, the Giants gathered for dinner at the New York Athletic Club for their annual "Monday Night with the New York Giants" dinner to benefit the Ronald McDonald House of NYC. Offensive linemen, David Diehl and Rich Seubert served as team co-chairs for the dinner, which raised over $400,000. In addition to 20 members of the current team, Joe Morris, Harry Carson, Jesse Armstead and Frank Gifford also attended, and were auctioned as table guests at the beginning of the evening.

The Giants have a long tradition of working with the Ronald McDonald House of New York City, a temporary home to families from all over the world who have traveled to the city primarily for pediatric cancer treatment available only in New York's hospitals.
In 1997, the Giants dedicated the "Giants Room" on the House's Sports Floor. Kids who stay in this room can easily become instant Giants fans, as they are surrounded by Giants decorations, pillows, blankets, and more. Players have also been known to stop by the house from time to time to hang out with the kids, and earlier this year, many players from the team visited the House to host a barbeque for the kids and their families. In 2006, the Giants assisted in the renovation of the House's playroom, which now includes a new "teen room," fully decorated with Giants memorabilia and photographs, along with a big-screen TV to enjoy the Giants' games. This renovated playroom provides new opportunities for fun an enjoyment during an otherwise difficult time of medical treatments. In appreciation for the Giants' involvement, the playroom was dedicated in honor of the late Giants owners, Wellington Mara and Bob Tisch.
In order to provide financial support for the operations of the Ronald McDonald House of New York City, the Giants host their annual "Monday Night with the Giants" fundraiser dinner at the beginning of the football season. Guests at the event have the chance to talk, take photos and eat dinner with the players while bidding on auction items that range from game tickets to signed memorabilia. The "Monday Night with the Giants" event helps raise enough money each year so that families staying in the Giants Room located on the Sports Floor do not have to pay any type of fee.
