Giveaways Include Eli Manning Bobblehead, 10th Anniversary Poster, Strahan Rally Towel and More
To celebrate the return of fans to MetLife Stadium, the New York Giants announced today a special lineup of gameday themes and giveaways throughout the 2021 season, including a rally towel, presented by Quest Diagnostics, for the first 65,000 fans at the Sept. 12 season opener against the Denver Broncos.
The lineup also features a limited-edition Eli Manning bobblehead, presented by Pepsi, on September Sept. 26, when the two-time Super Bowl MVP will be inducted into the Giants' Ring of Honor and have his No. 10 jersey retired during a halftime ceremony. The first 25,000 fans to come through the gates will receive the bobblehead of the legendary quarterback.
"We couldn't be more excited to have fans back at MetLife Stadium this year," Chief Commercial Officer Pete Guelli said. "As part of our commitment to enhance the gameday experience, we are proud to announce our theme and giveaway schedule, which will give fans more ways to engage with the team than ever before."
Single Game Tickets
A limited number of Giants 2021 single game tickets are on sale now
Manning helped lead the Giants to their fourth Super Bowl victory in 2011, of which the Giants are celebrating the 10th anniversary throughout the season. It will culminate with ceremonies during the Oct. 17 home game against the Los Angeles Rams, when all fans will receive a commemorative poster, presented by PNC Private Bank, featuring the historic moments from the 2011 championship season.
A week later, the Giants go from Super Bowls to superheroes in a Marvel-themed Oct. 24 game against the Carolina Panthers. The first 30,000 fans will receive a special-edition comic book of their favorite current Giants turned into superheroes.
On Nov. 28, the Giants will officially retire the No. 92 jersey of Pro Football Hall of Famer and franchise sacks leader Michael Strahan during a game against the Philadelphia Eagles, a team which he sacked more than any other throughout his illustrious career. All fans will receive a unique jersey-shaped towel, presented by Grayscale, with Strahan's name, number, and the date commemorating the jersey retirement ceremony.
In addition to the giveaways, the Giants will support and promote various initiatives throughout the season, including Crucial Catch, Play60, Salute to Service, and Fan Appreciation Day. The Giants will open the 2021 season by honoring first responders and paying tribute to the victims of the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks.
