1) Spencer Paysinger has two interceptions in as many days that were nearly identical to each other. The only difference is Thursday's happened indoors at the Quest Diagnostics Training Center as practice was moved into the field house due to weather. In coverage, the third-year linebacker again tipped a Ryan Nassib pass to himself and hauled in the interception. Paysinger continues to hold onto the top role at his position, starting each of the first two preseason games and being named game captain last week against the Colts.

3) Tom Coughlin admitted yesterday there's been some frustration with Jerrel Jernigan's acclimation to the NFL, and the recent hamstring injury didn't help things either. But the wide receiver is back practicing and put together another solid day. One play that stuck out was a crossing route, and Jernigan zigzagged his way to the corner of the end zone for a touchdown catch from Eli Manning. Saturday against the Jets will be a big opportunity for Jernigan to prove himself in live action. Â
4) Adrien Robinson was all over the field today – in a good way. The second-year tight end has a knack for finding open space and did so with multiple catches. He missed on a fade to the back corner of the end zone from Eli Manning, whose reaction meant he may have overthrown it a touch. But Robinson was especially effective in goal line situations today, hauling in a few passes from close range. Fellow tight end Larry Donnell also made a nice catch going across the field from Nassib during 7-on-7 work.
5)Signed nine days ago, Ben Guidugli had everyone checking their rosters for the spelling of his name after a play he made in the middle of practice. The fullback, running a wheel route out of the backfield, worked his way up the right sideline and hauled in an over-the-shoulder catch from David Carr. It was a great play all around for the offense, which has found some success with that in recent history.
