Q: Is there a difference now with the start of the regular season?
A: Yes, when we came in we got right to work and got right to Washington today. It is intense and everybody is down to business and we are getting ready to go out and have a great game this week.
Q: How does it feel to go from free agent to looking like you are the starting fullback?
A: It feels great. The whole free agent thing just made me more determined, fuel to the fire. I just want to go out and prove a lot of people wrong and I just have to continue doing what I am doing. I am just so excited to have this opportunity to play for such a wonderful organization.
Q: How satisfying is it to be just a blocking back?
A: In high school, I ran for over 7,000 yards and had over 100 touchdowns so when Brandon or Ahmad or Danny Ware gets those touchdowns, I feel like I am getting those touchdowns. It is gratifying for me and I don't care what I have to do as long as the team wins and I am doing my part, that's all I care about.
Q: What is the mentality of a fullback?
A: You have to be crazy to do what a fullback does, something has to be off. You have to have that right mentality and be ready to hit somebody every single play.
