Eli Manning, the two-time Super Bowl MVP and Walter Payton Man of the Year Award winner, has achieved another important milestone: he has joined Twitter! Fans can follow Manning now at the Twitter handle @EliManning or here: Twitter.com/elimanning .
Manning played 16 seasons for the New York Giants from 2004 through 2019. No other player in the history of the franchise wore a Giants uniform for that long. No one played as many games (236 in the regular season without ever missing one due to injury). He is the only Giants player to win two Super Bowl Most Valuable Player awards, which he earned in the Giants' victories against the New England Patriots in Super Bowls XLII and XLVI. A four-time Pro Bowler, Manning set more than 20 franchise records and earned the universal admiration of teammates, coaches, support staff, opponents and fans.
Manning announced his retirement at a press conference on January 23rd at the Quest Diagnostics Training Center surrounded by family, former coaches and teammates, and other important figures from his football career. Giants president John Mara said at the time that Manning's number 10 will be retired by the organization.
