Eisen's Mailbag: Pass Heavy Offense

**

Lots of questions surrounding the running back position. My question is, with David Wilson being the breakaway speed runner he is, would we expect to see more power, I formation running to give him lead blockers so he can break free? Will there be a change in running style, or will the Gmen decide to go to the air next year instead of sticking with a strong running game? Roy ** -Aaron

*First, the Giants will never abandon the running game as long as Tom Coughlin is coaching. He believes in the value of a strong rushing attack and a balanced offense, so the Giants will never travel solely through the air. I also believe the ground game's style will change little, if at all. Yes, Wilson has more speed than Ahmad Bradshaw possessed last season. But the Giants have had a consistently potent offense (429 points scored last year), so significant changes seem unnecessary. Wilson should be very productive in the scheme the Giants had long run.
