Michael:
The Giants have one the hardest schedules in the NFL coming out of the bye week. What are the key games for the Giants down the home stretch?
Murtuza
Dear Murtuza:
Frankly, to me every game qualifies as "key." This week it's Washington – division road games are always huge, and the Redskins are just a game behind the Giants. Next up are the Jets. With both teams fighting for playoff berths, this game will be particularly big for each team. Monday night in Miami?
No one wants to look bad on Monday night. And the Giants can't afford to falter against a sub .500 team. That's followed by two games against teams currently atop their divisions, undefeated Carolina and Minnesota (which is tied with Green Bay). Games matching two first-place teams in the season's final three weeks make for great football theater.
So should the season-ender vs. Philadelphia. The NFC East title could be on the line. Maybe you can pick a game in the final six that is un-key. I can't.
