Today's edition of The Mailbag on Giants.com.

I had a question about Mathias Kiwanuka. With all this young, raw talent emerging from the linebacker corps, and the fourth defensive end spot on the roster in question, why isn't Kiwi moved back to his natural position of defensive end?

*Because he is too good a linebacker and we are strong at defensive end. Why would you want to take a starter who is one of your best players and move him because there seems to be an opening for a fourth end? With Osi Umenyiora, Justin Tuck and Jason Pierre-Paul at end, how much playing time would Kiwi get there? Yes, there's seems to be talent at linebacker. But none of those players is the proven commodity that Kiwi is. He has become an outstanding strongside linebacker. We are strong at defensive end. Let's leave well enough alone. *
