The Quest Diagnostics Training Center was abuzz on Thursday for the start of the 2015 New York Giants Rookie Mini-Camp.
The newest members of the team -- and roughly 60 trying to make it -- reported to East Rutherford, N.J., for check-in and physicals before they dive into meetings, practices, and strength and conditioning over the next three days.
As outlined by the collective bargaining agreement, clubs are allowed one rookie mini-camp that may be conducted on either the first or second weekend following the draft. Those attending include the Giants' new six-member draft class, undrafted rookie free agents, first-year players who have not completed a season of credited service, and NFL hopefuls invited by the team on a tryout basis.
For most, this is the first time they will put on their new colors and be introduced to team concepts by coaches and staff members.
And Giants.com is with them every step of the way.
Follow players as they tour their new home on the first day, and stay tuned throughout the weekend for highlights, photos and more as the action heats up with on-field practices on Friday and Saturday.
