Q: How much did you do today? How did it feel?
A: It felt good today. I went out there and participated in pretty much most of the practice. There were a few things that I had to make sure I kept my head out of and just used my hands, but it felt great. Like I said, we'll just continue to evaluate it. I still have to shower up and give the report to the doctors, but they watched me out there and everything looks good so far.
Q: Are you on a daily basis now?
A: I'll go in there and talk to [the doctors], let them know how I felt during the practice. Like I said, tomorrow we'll come in and see what I'm able to do.
Q: Did you practice at center and Boothe at guard?
A: Yeah, Boothe moved over and Snee's getting better. We miss him, but you have to adjust on the fly. We just went out there and worked well together today and we have to make it happen.
Q: How concerned are you about taking that first hit?
A: I'm not. It's football. You know what I mean? It's going to happen and hopefully I'll be doing the hitting, so I won't be receiving the blows. I'm not worried about it. I just have to do everything in my power to make sure it's completely healthy and secure for this game. As of right now it feels really good and I'm excited about this weekend.
Q: What's the mood regarding the running game?
A: it's something you definitely have to address and get straightened out. We know that Buffalo is a very good team. We have to focus on what we have to focus on this week for us. We're going to have a good game plan, but we just need to go out and execute.
Q: With the running game, is it simply a missed block here, a missed block there? A: A lot of it is inconsistency. I think just making sure that people are cleaning up that stuff. It's the sixth week of the season… we have to have that stuff straightened out. We can't be having mistakes like that. That's definitely something that we need to get corrected and do a lot less of moving forward.
