Pat Shurmur is now head coach of the New York Football Giants. So what does that mean for the offense?
Giants.com went back and took a deep dive into the numbers from his most recent post as offensive coordinator of the 13-3 Minnesota Vikings. Here are some interesting numbers we came up with from the 2017 season:
53.6 - The Vikings averaged 53.6 rushes + completions per game (1st in NFL).
61.0% - The Vikings ran the ball 61.0% of the time on first-and-10 (highest % in NFL).

7 - Minnesota attempted only seven fourth-down conversions (fewest in NFL). NFC North rival Green Bay led the league with 28 attempts.
21 - Minnesota had 21 first-and-goals from inside the five-yard line and scored 19 touchdowns on them (both most in NFL). On the two they did not convert into touchdowns, they kicked a field goal on one and ran out of time on the other.
