Both recently and historically, the Giants and Cowboys have played memorable games against each other that go a long way in dictating the NFC East race.
The two franchises will meet on Sunday at MetLife Stadium for the latest edition of the division rivalry, with the 4-6 Giants trying to catch the 5-5 Cowboys. However, they both trail the 6-5 Philadelphia Eagles, who are on their bye this week.
"Anytime you're playing a division team, there's huge implications," linebacker Jon Beason said. "The later it gets in the season when the playoff picture is starting to play out, things become more meaningful…It's a game you want to go out and play well in. It's a game you try and go out and win."
